Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Corned beef is a purely American phenomenon. In the 19th Century butcher's in areas the Irish lived in American cities tended to be Jewish, so pig products were not an option. Eh no. Corned beef has had various primary sources, none of them in the US. Pre 1800s Ireland was a major supplier. Post 19...

How did people feel Larmour did? I thought he played as expected. He's 5th(?) choice in the back three, and is not a FB. Even Leinster only select him there as a break glass option in lower profile games. He was drafted in to start at FB in a 6N decider, having not been in the frame for a serious I...

I feel sorry for Nicky Henderson's owners missing their day out and big opportunity. However they need to grow a pair and get him to campaign their horses properly. The key there is reasonable offers. I don't think it's unreasonable to take up employment that you are reasonably able to do. Logically that will be no job offers for many. Not suggesting it's fun at all. But this proposal is giving supports to help people have more money. No one is getting less mo...

Going to be absolute plough horses winning, given the amount of rain that's falling. The FAI is inherently corrupt and/or endemically poorly run. You can change the Board as many times as you like, the constituent parts are all part of the overall problem. You'd probably need a 10 year restructuring plan to impose good Governance on it. Way, way too many chancers in the entire spor...
