Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)
Toole deserves a shot. Might be great. Might be Rod Davies Mk. 2. The Wales games seem as good a time as any. Hes worth 5-15 points a game. These aren't mugs he's running around either. His defence seems better this year too. If kellaway and Nawaqanitawase are the other members of the back three, t...

Wouldn't mind Fiji, but I'm not on Facebook at the moment sadly, but if any contacts in the Islands, that'd be great. Youre fairly big right? In Fiji he would be smaller than the halfbacks :P Easy, I reckon I'd have Lomani for size  @UNCLEFB, na they hit the nail on the head, I work for the wo...

Yep, UncleFB was always confident they had the squad to be a Super quality team, just not the coaching, this confirms it. Thino this is the most competitive start to a season I've ever seen, wouldn't have picked the Canes to be unbeaten.

Re: Razor's first press conference
I agree , are the crowds hugely impacted because of the lost of these players ? I’ve never noticed a direct correlation myself . Don't necessarily disagree, the All Blacks haven't exactly elevated their super stars above their super teams. More sabbaticals which extend to fringe ABs if we know they...

Must be such a relief to MP that there are other teams like the force who cough it up in the opposition 22 more than them So what is preferred, Crusaders at the bottom of the table, or a Moana Pasifika with 2 wins? Quite remarkable that both are about to happen Pretty stoked, MP have looked the rea...

That was a while ago. I would have thought his NSW record would be more relevant. Hes currently getting lee way due to injuries but it'll be interesting to see how long that lasts if things don't change. Give him a break. Warren Gatland lost all his games coming back to NZ, and he's a far more deco...

Stitched up by the draw somewhat as well. Not the easiest of starts. Nothing that will stop you being able to get into the playoffs though. Yeah no home game til R4 is pretty rough. I don't like Super Round being in R2 for that reason. Tbf, all teams are at a disadvantage during super rou...

Such a loyal bunch the force fans. Sounds like a club match at times. Thought there was no attempt to go for the ball there for the MP player It's a shame, the crowds they'd pull during the Nick Cummins days were great. Attn: Kovana, Flagg - seeking to play club rugby in the islands
Keen to play a season of rugby in the Pacific Islands, I'm wondering how I'd go about that, as a kiwi, I understand Kovana is Samoan based, but if any Pacific Island posters could help me out in making this happen, that'd be great.

Re: SRP - R4 Highlanders vs ACT Brumbies
Good chance for Brumbies to win this one away from home, that's a pretty average Highlanders forward pack, considering injuries etc.
Stoked to see Jack Taylor get a start, personally believe he has a higher ceiling than Henry Bell.

:( You can look gloatingly across at me shivering in the south stand. Best stand to be in with a cold southerly blowing though. Saw a few videos shared on socials from the breakdown, JK stating if the Crusaders go 0-6 (3 derbies coming up) the season will be over. I think he should do some research...

For decades now, the AB's have had almost a production line of world class #10s. Fox, Mehrtens, Spencer, Carter, Barrett Of the current Crop at Super Rugby Level, we have Cameron, Perofeta, D-Mac, MIllar, Faleafaga, Godfrey, Love, Morgan, and a few others. A lot of great players, but not a Carter a...

Nice to hear. I played Club Rugby with him, so have a soft spot. Reds wouldn’t have won without him imo. Ravai is a beast, when he came on last week he almost won the game single-handedly. But of course they are both imports, unfortunately. He pretty much lost the Reds that game last week, he was g...

Fully deserved win to the Canes. Blues did ok not to drop their bundle with that 6-2 rubbish bench. I was going to compliment Perofeta on a very good game but that miss at the end to deny the bonus downgrades my compliment to just good game. 8) Unlucky too, Sullivan and Lam were both looking great ...

Re: OFFICIAL" Reds are too lazy to start a Chiefs thread" thread
Peni Ravai, an absolute unit. Built like a bodybuilder, kinda similar physique to Joe Marler. Judging by the few minutes he played, he would bench press Joe Marler. He was rubbish after 20mins last week Yep, absolutely gassed, seemingly immediately, then spent the rest of the game a few seconds beh...

Re: The Official Capt Hurricane Hurricanes vs Blues Match Thread.
Right call on Iose above. Higgins gets to start ahead of PUG which is a solid indication of just how good he is. I'm surprised he's stuck around as long as he has, he's on the wrong side of 25, played for the AB's, and yet barely features at this level, even though he's more than capable. Wouldn't ...

Re: OFFICIAL SR'24 Cpt Hurricane Canes vs Reds Thread, Sun 3 March (SUPER ROUND)
Decided to dwell a pause of two marching paces prior to bursting in to print. First and foremost, a cracker of a game. The score line belies the impact that defence had on this match. Both sides had to work hard to get the ball over the line. Bindi said it was a shame that one side had to win. Yeah...

Good win by Landers, tough match, feel for MP, had all the opportunities to put this one away but couldn't quite capitalise. Crowd looked animated. So frustrating from the Rebs, simple fundamentals just go out the door everytime they get an opportunity to score some points… fuggin hell. Yep, it's frustrating, every single opportunity they've had, they've squandered immediately with a dumb offload, or no one turning up to the ruck, or a shit pa...
