It was only once most of the world was vaccinated that we actually saw the fatality rate reduce. And the bigges...

It's nice that some weren't massacred, or kicked out of their homes and off their land during the formation of Israel. And retained some rights. Is this not akin to the “I can’t be racist, I have a black friend” defence. We aren’t talking about the Arabs who live in Israel, we are talking about the Palestinians who live in the West Bank and Gaza. Who are also Arabs. This is a really silly distraction, it reflects a trivial mind. If Benjamin Netanyahu never existed. Palestinian Arabs calling themselves Hamas or something else would have attacked Israel on Oct 7. We know this because: 1. Iran was organising the attack, Hamas just f**ked it up 2. Because they hav...

I'd put it this way, not peak Jones after he slowed down a bit due to his injuries is pretty much McCaw.

Peak Jones was the complete rugby player.

McCaw was the greater AB.
Jones in 1987 was the forwards equivalent of Lomu in 1995.

So they are keeping the lucky loser but instead of dropping 1 seed, that team becomes the 4th seeded in the semi-finals.

This looks like a good change, and every permutation I can think of avoids the same teams meeting in the quarters and semis.
