Re: Sturgeon, Covid and Scottish political stuff
Sturgeon has aleady stated that she does not have the power to close the border between Scotland and England - See Andrew Marr interview back in April when Marr explicitly asked that question. Reading both the Times & Telegraph - the Times buried way in the inside pages on both paper, and it wasn'r...

Hearing its much worse than whats been reported so far. Possibly 7 including police officer killed and more than one shot by armed response. Not heard anything suggesting more - have heard 4 taken to hospital so might be 7 casualties, 3 dead 4 injured. That was a wee while ago and 3rd hand. Doesn't...

Faslane will be maintained until another sub port can be built. The SNP will obviously use this is a bargaining chip but I can't see it being a huge one as it will only be for a few years. The Royal Navy and rUK government won't have Trident sitting in a foreign country a day longed than necessary.

Matt Smith has retired. No injury, just says he no longer enjoys it and found it a chore to get up for training. Real shame, I liked him as a player, best of luck to the guy. Shame he had a lot of potential. Still people become disillusioned with their careers all the time, hope he finds a career h...

One of the most annoying things is folk calling off at the last minute by text. It used to be you were meeting your mates in the pub at 7 and there were absolutely no call offs after 6.30 as everyone had left the house. Now there are always “sorry lads, not going to make it” plum Surely they just d...

Yes, NATO uses Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) rounds, it's a general agreement between the worlds military's (although the US is now going to use 9mm Jacketed Hollow Points (JHP) in their service pistols).
