Re: Rugby Championship: Springboks vs All Blacks: MATCH THREAD: Sat 2nd Oct
Of course it was Ofa costing the game by giving away a penalty. He could be the best scrumagger in the world, still wouldn't be worth it for his ill discipline.

Re: Best place in the world to swim/kayak with dolphins?
At Curio Bay in the Caitlins there are resident Hectors dolphins to the beach. They are there everyday surfing the waves. Not meant to go after them just be in the water and they'll come by.

Re: SBW gooooooooooooone to League for big money!
SBW still getting hate, why does he provoke so much angst in average middle aged rugby blokes? While this is like an MLS team shelling out huge money for Beckham or Rooney in that it's largely for the publicity, SBW is still one of the best in his position in the world. It's nothing to scoff at for ...

Brilliant, well done South Africa. True test rugby, comes down to who's the most physical and who's mentally most up for it, looked like the Boks from the start.

Re: Foster Out!
I'd be carefully about rush calls. I recall Shag not having the greatest rep before he took over and New Zealand have arguably played some of the most effective rugby in history under him with McCaw and Carter retired. Sometimes you have to look at your players, Beauden and Richie are no Carter. Th...

Re: Surprising performance.
Not terribly surprising given the fairly unconvincing performances (even when winning) they have put in since 2015, this result just puts those results in their proper context. There is always hope that poor performances or losses are in some way excused by a master plan for an ultimate goal. Not t...

Re: All Blacks V England RWC Semi Final Match Thread.
This is by far the least dissapointing world cup loss and it's not close. England were miles better I don't have any feelings of what could've been. It has since they retired been underestimated how much we miss McCaw and Carter and the small consolation is that those World Cups will fully go down ...

Not a 10s arsehole. People gave Beauden Barrett heaps after the tied Lions series. But yet Richie offers no defence, and remains anonymous on the big stage. Barrett should be our 10. Wasted at fullback. Eh? Barrett was terrible today. Could barely catch the ball at times under pressure. The fact is...

No one is arguing Reiko Ioane over the last few seasons was not a better left wing than George Bridge. However the player we have seen in the All Black side this season would struggle to make one of the NZ Super sides bar the Blues . His lack of threat combined with his woeful defence, positioning ...

Re: Cricket World Cup 2019 - OFFICIAL Thread
It is a tough way to lose a World Cup final, but so long as the ICC don't do drawn finals, there is never an easy or perfect way to separate teams after such an even contest. The super over is a fair concept, but when that was drawn as well, all bets were off. It could just as easily have gone to t...

Actually I haven't. douches argument is the law is at fault or has some irrelevant impact on the game. It is not and showed how Rugby also has points that are awarded due to how you score which affects the tournament outcome just like Cricket does but he has no objection to. The number of tries doe...

Re: Cricket World Cup 2019 - OFFICIAL Thread
Wickets and runs are the currency in cricket, if it's not runs it should be wickets. The game of rugby is about tries, penalties are only a necessity to allow the action of attempting to score tries. It makes sense they are given some weighting in competition points but the game should be determine...

It was a tie that should've been settled. It was. I reckon it's a fair bet there isn't a poster in here who doesn't think you're a goose and a fop.
