Re: Banning smoking - does it make sense?
Ban vaping I know it's objectively less unhealthy than smoking and essentially removes the second hand aspect, but for some reason I find it much more annoying and look down on vapers more than smokers. I'm with you there. They seem to think that they blow that smelly shite everywhere. I don't care...

I also have to say: it would be HILARIOUS if Leinster failed to win anything this year or next year. Look I'm sorry radge got beaten out the gate and booed for good measure, but you have to move on. I think you'll find that not once have I commented about that as I simply don't care. I did say last...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Munster offered him nothing when he went to them at the end of last season. Not a year. Not a reduced wage to what he was on. Nothing. Not a proposal to get the IRFU involved. Big fat zero. Wonder why they might not be on good terms. Very odd on Munster's side. Maybe they were playing chicken with ...

Are you being deliberately argumentative? The USA was the sponsor of those wars. They did the heavy lifting. Everyone else supplied a few thousand troops. As it stands, Britain could not now replicate even that effort. By various reports, Britain would run out of artillery shells in 6 weeks. Ukrain...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
There's the guts of a very good team in the Munster squad but not enough depth to handle injuries or even the endgame. Massive issue alright, a fully fit squad wins that game, Archer having to go 80 tells you all you need to know really. That should be the last HEC game for a lot of the old stagers...

Right, let's get into this, why are Munster the way they are? Their best players on the weekend included POM and Zebo. What's going on with the young lads? We've too many perennial losers, never-have-beens and over the hill players on the team. Simple as. There's very little in the way of winning c...

Interestingly, I've heard that building providers have had an absolute dire first quarter to the year (e.g. Chadwick's, Heat Merchants, Brooks etc). This is despite an urgent need for housing but there's a slowdown coming in the later part of this year by the looks of it. Inflation is certainly imp...

A win against a team currently in 7th position in the Eng Prem, was never going to be in doubt. Not sure that Leinster will go all the way though If Leinster don't win silverware this year, it'll genuinely be disastrous given the firepower at their disposal. It was disastrous last season, will it b...

I don't know why people are taking umbrage with the statement that a season finishing with no trophies would be a complete failure? They basically play a full international team when it matters. I seem to have struck a nerve anyway.
