We ran out of water here in Manila early this year. The taps were literally turned off. Some of my colleagues had access to water for 5 minutes a day, at say 5am. They would just fill up as many buckets as they could in that time. Many of the elites didnt have their water affected. A few of my frie...

As a Kiwi I just don't buy this notion that the English are not fit. Perhaps Mako "the pie destroyer" Vunipola, but he will likely only play 50 minutes maximum. Guys like Curry, Underhill, Faz can run all day. The only weakness I see between the two teams is at halfback. Smith is a real asset here ...

In terms of the All Blacks selection, a couple of sayings come to mind. "Don't change a winning team." and "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." New Zealand were fantastic in dispatching Ireland last week, so I'd be inclined to stick with 22 out of the 23. Frizell probably in for the injured Todd. Eng...

Skeen's effort was nowhere near as bad as Nigel Owens simply making things up for Matt Todd's YC. That's the worst decision I've ever seen in all the years that I've been watching Rugby. I really wanted the Aussies to score that try as the play was worthy of five points but it was clear as day that the final pass was forward. So when Ben Skeen intervened I thought it was one of the most obvious bits of cheating I've seen since Steve Walsh was running the touchline for a Lions game....

With hindsight, the Michalak forward pass in 2007 was the worst moment. The victory led not only to an embarassing SF but to an inexorable erosion of the romance of the AB legend for me. 3 months previously, 2 of the 15 tries scored by the ABs in their shellacking of Les Bleus had seen forward pass...

Just looked at the last four games against the All Blacks and Ireland lead 87 to 83 on aggregate. take out that injury time Crotty try in 2013, that came from an awful decision from Owens, and it would be 83-80 to us, with a 3-1 record across those 4 games And if you go back to 2012 then the aggreg...
