Re: Irish Courts: U.K. not a safe country

Still seems easier en masse to end migration rights for reasons of asylum, or there needs to be a scheme to share the numbers around, it not being fair to leave so much on Turkey, Greece and Italy, and so little on the likes of the UK and Ireland Bumbling along not accepting there's a problem but h...

Re: Irish Courts: U.K. not a safe country

I don’t want any of the boat people to come here. Happy to admit that. I am confident that the majority of the UK electorate agree with me. Yet polls show that the Rwanda plan has very low support among the public and stats show most of the people arriving on small boats are granted leave to stay a...

Re: Irish Courts: U.K. not a safe country

Luckily thanks to the Rwanda plan they are your problem now. Let’s see if you feel the same way in a few years time when Ireland is completely swamped with “Refugees” coming into Ireland from the UK, and being stopped from sending them back to the UK due to the supposed risk of refoulment. I live i...

Re: Irish Courts: U.K. not a safe country

That makes them economic migrants No it doesn't. Say a refuge from Syria has family in Manchester, speaks English but not Greek why should they stay in Greece? People who advocate this approach just don't want refugees to come here at all as the only place we could accept refugees from would be Ire...

Re: Irish Courts: U.K. not a safe country

Under the outdated refugee convention there is no requirement to seek asylum in the first safe country. The migrants are doing nothing wrong legally. There is no difference legally between crossing into Ireland from the UK on foot than crossing into the UK from France by boat. I personally feel the...

The RFU has over double the revenue of the IRFU and has to (help) fund zero mens clubs. Not all unions are resourced like the RFU. England is big enough to run a domestic competition. Ireland doesn't have enough female players to run a top end domestic competition. it has enough to run two teams so...
