Re: Is Caleb Clarke a young Maa Nonu?

Bridges try from the boot for the Saders was one of the best I’ve ever seen skill wise . Is Bridges a young Jeff Wilson? If Wilson only ran in a straight line and couldn't beat defenders one on one. :D Is Bridges a young Caleb Ralph? No. Caleb Ralph had far more class than journeyman Bridge.

Sheesh we're a tough crowd. A 20 point win over a resurgent Wallabies team and we're still not happy.

Maybe I just had low expectations so was pleasantly surprised by the result.

Re: Fozzie Out

I don't think we will see Oz miss 41 tackles in a game again. Some of those breaks (Clarke, Barrett and Perenara stand out in my memory) were far batter than they should have been because Aussie fell like flies. Also, if Tomua stays on Oz would have been a lot better. In short - we got lucky but we...

I haven't seen any evidence that AB fans want the team to fail so that it reflects badly on Foster. That's just a dishonest post. I am one of the most anti-Foster posters on this forum and I've said repeatedly that I'd love to be proven wrong, and for him to lead the AB's to great success. I've see...

He's a shorter, lighter, more mobile, less experienced version of Bird. He's the luckiest man in NZ rugby but is rated by some fairly knowledgable people. I saw nothing during Super Rugby Aotearo to suggest he is an All Black, but I guess we will all know a bit more come Sunday. I appreciate the Bi...

This is the first time I've seen an ABs XV and genuinely had no idea who one of the starters is. Tupou Vaa’i? Compare him to Dominic Bird for me. That's a nice gesture and great to see the two sides mixing again. I think there was great camaraderie between the sides during the 90's and early 2000's that turned sour during the Robbie Deans era and didn't improve under Cheika.
