lots of helicopters overhead this afternoon. swat type police surrounding a building or street nearby to the incident. Suspected where the shooter or shooters ran to. TV showed one body on the tram tracks partially covered with a blanket. not nice to see.

Re: Lion Air - place crash of indonesia
The biggest downside to working in Indonesia was flying into small regional strips in dodgy aircraft with permanently smiling pilots. My first trip to Tarakan in NE Kalimantan in ancient King air [ notorious for falling out of the air] culminated in a descent through a monsoon storm cloud with zero...

Re: PR Depression, Anxiety and Suicidal
I have booked flights home to Ireland for the week now. I keep hurting the ones I love with my behaviour and I feel myself spiralling Ireland are going to win the RWC- you need to be around to see that. I would never miss the chance to rub that in Pom and Aussie faces... mate just said to me "Imagi...

Re: Artificial Pitches: What's the PR verdict of these?
The burns from the artificial pitches are bad and take time to heal. Kids playing in a final a few weeks ago still have burn injuries from the pitch. One kid got some kind of infection from the burns after playing on one in a 7s tournament. My impression from the team I'm involved with is parents & ...

Re: PR Depression, Anxiety and Suicidal
Blimey- most people seem to know they're being irrational, with avoidance of things etc. Maybe you could have a chat with a good therapist for some guidance? To him it all seems perfectly rational (and in a world of the Donald vs North Korea, climate change, he has ample genuine reasons to be conce...

Send Heaslip to Ulster, - pay him enough to make it worth his while. Where are we going to find €10m? Im sure a sponsor could be found to keep him at his current level. Why should the new guys move to get game time if the experienced guy could offer more by moving. probably expectations are given h...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Heaslip going would be a win all round, I reckon. Save money, still have access to him and Conan gets proper gametime. Not good for Ulster if Nucifora's plan is to encourage player movement rather than the fück over Ulster approach that it appears to be. Ulster f**k themselves over with poor coachi...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I don't think Payne has come in for any criticism other than the obvious for his kicking. I assume the Fitz/Henshaw comment was tongue in cheek and that's the only reference to dropping him. I think fitz had his best game for Ireland for a good while even though played in a relatively unfamiliar po...

The SA lock De jager & Henderson would make some powerful combination. They both look about 15 but put in some amount of effort. ulster should start having a word with their contacts. see if AOC can move to 6 or 8 & have a serious pack.

Beginning to think a large proportion of Irish fans are as dumb as ulster fans were when questioning Jared Payne. Top tackler (none missed), best running game in the outside backs and a score. And suddenly people are talking about fitz/Henshaw. f**k me :x Two poor kicks aside, Payne had a good game...

You'd have to say that's our starting pack with Healy off the bench. Same bench too. Hard luck Dev but we'll always have Paris. Hopefully Healy is ready to go before France, but yeah, I agree. I think on balance he'll prefer McGrath's match sharpness at the start and Healy’s impact off the bench, e...

From my basic understanding of the conversation in French between Garces & the TMO he was asking initially what his recommendation was & the TMO recommended yellow. Garces asked it to be played more on the screen with emphasis on how Goode landed & if his head hit the ground. When he saw the head hi...

Yup. No nailed-ons please. Especially not in key positions. Of course we're going to have nailed-ons. We don't have two quality players in most positions.
