Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread

I've only seen him a few times but Hendy is great. Just seems to find gaps effortlessly. That Saints team look so well coached in general though. Vesty has done a brilliant job. Hopefully Wiggy had his notebook to hand while he was watching that one. Saints have a lovely shape in first phase attack...

Re: Heineken cup quarter final - Bordeaux vs Harlequins

Quins have been brilliant. Very surprising scoreline. Baxter impressing at prop and Porter has been excellent. Baxter impresses every time I see him, looks like a big babyface- if he looked rougher I reckon the hype would be off the charts. Needs a Mohawk and some tats… Can Quins carry this through!

On the other side of the coin, how many props have successfully transitioned into senior test rugby from the U20s? None of the props from the 2020 GS-winners have yet been capped. Go back 7 years to the all-conquering 2017 U20s 6N side, and none of the props have been capped for the senior team. Go...

The good news about all these Under 20 players that aren’t as good as X or you don’t rate that highly, is that they’re almost guaranteed to get better. They’re 19.
