Re: Sail GP in Lyttelton Harbour, Christchurch, NZ

That “silly little boat race” has a global audience of over a billion people You seem to be labouring under the delusion that sailing is a real sport or that I care. Let me disabuse you of that notion: it isn't and I don't. You may not care about the sailing itself but isn't bringing events like th...

Re: Jeremy Guscott v Manu Tuilagi - who was better?

Do you actually think Fozzie would pick Manu over Rieko? Honestly I think we'd probably play him at 12, not 13 in NZ. But yes, I do, as he's the exact sort of crash-ball gainline option we lacked for almost that entire tenure. So he wouldn't get picked over Rieko, he'd get picked over our 12s (afte...

Re: Jeremy Guscott v Manu Tuilagi - who was better?

As a Kiwi and spiritual guardian of the game I believe I speak the truth when I say Jeremy Guscott is one of the All time greats. Manu would struggle to make the ABs most years. Ryan Crotty made the ABs plenty of times, as did plenty if centres that don’t hold a candle to Tuilagi. I’m sure Tuilagi ...

That went about as I expected it to. Our lineout faltered with 20 and 21 year old locks, and Bell's throwing remains a concern. Our attack looks clueless and I don't understand the use of Aumua at all.
