Re: The OFFICIAL English and European Football (soccer) thread
Granpa Question for you. I want you to be honestβ¦. If Liverpool had Haaland instead of Darwin, do you think they win the PL this season? Yes, probably. Also if they had Kane, Toney, Isak or Watkins. But I'd still want Nunez in the side... He's not a proper number 9. Diaz is playing in his position....

Just looking at the squad we had when we won the league to now. Farkingly depressing. 2016/7 Back 3: Johnny McNicholl, Liam Williams, Steff Evs (when was league's top try scorer) and Van der Merwe Centres: Scott Williams, Jonathan Davies, Hadley Parkes - Regan King left at end of prior season FH/SH:...

 Get the fΓ»ck in there Bit disappointed as this may well turn into a procession for City again. I was hoping for a 3 way run-in. Liverpool's wheels have fallen off. Arsenal just didn't have enough of it when it counted. Still, if the Gooners win all remaining games and City draw one they could...

Re: OJ gone....
Never understood the criticism of the prosecution and making Simpson's "dream team" out to be geniuses. Jurors openly admitted to finding him not guilty as revenge against whitey. OJ could have represented himself and got off. I don't think this is true. I've seen interviewers with jurors in which ...

Itβs pathetic. But do you do see them given. They get rewarded for this behaviour constantly. Hard agree. Our prop stocks haven't been this low in as long as I can recall. The hookers aren't great, but they aren't our biggest issue. Our locks make me sad. Daf looks lightweight, Rowlands's form has dropped off a cliff, and Beard is a massive fanny. Doing a bit of research - not choosing ever...

Looking at the backrow is all good and well, and I agree with many of the comments but its our front 5 that is the biggest problem in the pack. I have no confidence in ANY prop, and with our hookers they all have a glaring weakness - Dee (scrum), Lake (darts), Elias (darts). Hard agree. Our prop st...

Ref was 100% on the money. Saka had a chance to win and he decided to dive. Football is so full of cheaters. Imagine being paid a fortune every year and deciding with all your efforts and skills learned from childhood, and you decide to do that. And then complaining to the ref for not giving it! It...

Someone born in 1960, would be 64 today (or soon to be). 64 years the other way would have been 1896.

Max doing Max things, imagine having your giant 12, who you play at 13 for reasons unknown carrying off first phase, through 5 defenders over 20m. Assuming that Putin's only motivation is expansionism and land-grabbing, then a more appropriate question would be: how many countries could seriously fit the bill of potential targets where Russia can justify another one of their special military operations in order to annex territory? It would ne...

I love war and westerns of this era. Seen a bunch. You just have to get used to the depiction of 'indians' as primitive and dim. Its a downward spiral on cultivating racism. Here are a few westerns. I've started with the must-see classics then gone by actor rather than director. And I'm purposefull...
