Re: F1 Thread

Aero regs have definitely hurt the Mercs and Aston the hardest. Maybe Alpine too.

Max will give them a real headache, but he'll need Perez to back him up properly if he wants the title. They were lucky that bad pitstop prevented a 2v1 in the final phase.

Ford's spiral bombs toying with a team again. Did he even use that tactic for England?

Also, potential poach alert, with Dan Kelly's stock rising.

More than likely won't be capped. Plenty of options still in the squad. Good for a highly rated talent to get some experience in the setup.

It's not like this is happening in the middle of the park. What defender, side on, is gonna tackle low in that position?

Re: That Jonny May try

It's a tough one, players obviously dive to score trys but for me that was more of a jump to avoid being tackled and it could have ended up very nasty for the tackler. What would have happened if the tackler had managed to grasp him while he was flying through the air and take him into touch......W...

Re: That Jonny May try

Some absolute guff in this thread. He was practically ahead of the last defender when he dived for the line. The defender was never in any danger, and May is entitled to dive for the line.

Can't help but feel people would be wanking themselves into a coma is this was LRZ.

Leicester get a nice mid-season bonus, as Julian Montoya joins with immediate effect, as his Western Force deal falls through.

Seems likely Tom Youngs will retire at the end of the season.

Re: POTUS-DONALD TRUMP-and U.S. Politics catch-all

I've seen some encouraging numbers for Dems from data analysts. Dem early vote lead is up from Nov. As is the black vote, whilst white non-college vote is down. Rep surge on election day is expected to be large, but there are warning signs that they may have depressed their own vote too much, whilst...

Depends how soon they want AJ to fight. No way they fight Fury before they're allowed to fill a stadium, and that could be well into the year.

Usyk, you could have in a more modest event, and sooner.

Bottas ignoring the blue flags for 4 laps not wanting to let Hamilton Lap him was pathetic. When it rains the cream comes to the top in F1. Nowhere near the best car on the day and wins by an F1 mile. Surprised by how badly Verstappen drove today. He clearly had the fastest car in these conditions ...
