Re: Royals photoshopping pictures of Kate
Kate has admitted to editing the image. Two scenarios then. Either, the photo is essentially as it originally was but she had a go at editing it to fix a few things she wasn't entirely happy with, and the whole thing has been blown out of proportion. Or, they are all wearing human looking skin suits...

car purchase issue
We put a £1,000 deposit on a used car at a major authorised Nissan dealership in UK a couple of weeks ago. In addition to the standard valeting/prep that they were going to do to prepare the car for us, there were a few specific issues that we discussed needed addressing, the major one being that th...

Off to Sorrento for 5 nights May half term. Went there for honeymoon 17 years ago, now going back with kids. Gonna do pompeii, vesuvius, positano, amalfi, capri. Then off to Puerto Pollensa in Majorca for 12 nights in summer. Was in nearby Alcudia with family in 2018 and got the bus to Puerto Pollen...

Saw Wonka over the Christmas period, and whilst it has no claim to great art, it is very enjoyable and a true homage to the original material. Good family film. Found it very amusing though that the trailer basically showed only dialogue its pretty much a full on musical Saw it with kids over Crimb...

I recently watch Flight of the Phoenix (2004). It didn't get that high a rating on IMDB but I liked it. A group of oil prospectors in the Gobi desert are going home but the plane crash lands in the middle of the desert with no way out. Eventually they come up with a plan to rebuild a plane from the...

I have four watches, al of which were given to me but don't wear any of them. I have a cheap and cheerful Seiko which my wife gave to me. Thanks for the replies. I’m going to stuff some mineral wool type stuff up there and the lights I’m getting are sealed units rated to be overlayed with insulation. It’s the best I can do. The lights will be installed by an electrician.

Don’t use expanding foam ok. Well, you can use foam, but only if you vent your 25mm airspace beneath the substrate that your roofing membrane is attached to and have an air-gap between it and the internal linings. But don't go squirting expansive foam everywhere unless you want to worsen the situat...

First thing to remember is there's a void between the celotex and membrane for airflow that you don't want to block. If its a square cut out of the cdlotex say 100mm square or whatever i''d stick loftroll type insulation in it. There's plenty of led downlights now that don't generate any heat. I di...

They aren't vents, they are just bits where they didn't put any kingspan because the lights would not have gone in with the kingspan in the way.

achtung builder/diy types - spotlights in extension
Hi, We had a single story extension done a few years ago with a sloping roof. The interior ceiling follows the same roofline and there is a layer of insulated plasterboard and then a void of approx 12cm before you get to the roofing membrane and then the tiles. Most of the void has the kingspan stuf...

Jesus, the farkin hysteria. That wales team had one job to do, win by a bp, and they did it. It was shite watching it, but so what, it was a second string team that did it’s job and gave some players short of match practice a run out whilst giving our first choice players a rest. Onwards we go.

Probably thought "fancy a shag?" was a chance to meet Steve Hansen? In fairness, while not dumb aca...
