Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)
Towny used to love Uelese Mind you, Towny used to love Tony Abbott as well Uelese has been a massive disappointment. Played his best test rugby in his first couple of tests at 19 was it? He has the size and the skills but not the ticker unfortunately Hooker has been a big problem for the Wallabies ...

Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)
Gordon has always had the skill set but never the mindset. His slow play from the base and his inclination to look for penalties that are not there hold back any side he plays for.

Re: Soup 2024, Reds v Waratahs
Ali being charitable to the Tahs. Two tries agains the run of play made the scoreline much better than how the actual game went. They were OK in patches but once again Gordon will be an anchor……as in holding them back. When he was replaced their play was much faster and more fluid. I thought Edmed w...

Re: Soup 2024, Reds v Waratahs
He is the best kicking 10 in Australia right now. The rest of his play was mostly very good.
You can see the Les Kiss mark all over the Reds play, and that will be what puts them at the top of the Oz teams this year. Brums look typically solid as well and will be right there with them.

Harris came off the bench for the Force and was a bit meh. Not a good move for him although the Force have recruited well.

Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)
Yes, and that is why Lolesio has struggled in test rugby a bit. His decision making is OK but he is not a natural. Thats probably why he was selected at 12 in schoolboy rep rugby. However, hes not terrible in this department and has improved with age and experience. Young Lynagh has been passed down...

Re: Kurt Beale arrested for alleged sexual assault…
His career is probably cooked. You make your bed, you lie in it. His has been a disappointing career despite his number of Wallaby caps etc. He never really became the all time great he was destined to be when a schoolboy. He has had too many distractions and probably played his best footy in France...

Re: anyone else mentally struggle in their 40's ?
Wait until you all hit 60. At around about 40-45 my fitness dropped off, the diet was still pretty rancid and I was drinking too much, as always. I then had a cancer scare and had to make a few decisions. Once you start to approach 50 the body protests more frequently and recovers more and more slow...

Not sure if this is the right spot but it’s going here. When I was 39 my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer (it was found on her 37th birthday). The cancer had spread to her liver but the doctors felt it was still operable. She had 12 weeks of chemo and then had a life saving operation sc...

Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)
Larkhams time will come. Ideally he will be involved at some level between now and the Lions and will be in a position to take the reins down the track. He is not the coach for this kind of re-build…..yet. Smit is tailor made and ideal to work with Nucifora initially. Having TT and Bell fit is ideal...

I am happy but will not comment yet. I was excited for that moron Jones to come back. I hope Oz fans and RA have learned their lesson. Smit is a great coach, as was Deans and Rennie, maybe to a lesser extent. Give the man some time and the support he needs and hopefully the Wobs will start tracking ...

Marky Mark is an important cog for us moving forward, especially so with Marika jumping ship.
Who could blame him for going to league after this past 12 months. Australian rugby is a train wreck and someone needs to map the way back to give the players some confidence.

Jones is a walking nightmare for any rugby club or country. He has completely lost the plot. He’s a shit coach & bloke now. And there’s plenty of evidence he’s declined to this point over several years. Todays reports that he left because RA wouldn’t implement his vision for the whole of Australian...

Getting back to EJ, you just knew he would walk in the 2nd half against Wales. His highly performative head in hands, shielding his eyes schtick in the coaching booth was a clear attempt to broadcast self-displacement from any responsibility. Meanwhile his charges were out there in public playing a...
