Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt
Nic White retires….again. He has been in career best form and will be missed. I don’t think Gordon is anywhere near as good. Maybe time for Tate to start?
Schmitty has a thing about Gordon but he is no Nic White.

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt
So whats the deal with Skelton? Why did he go back to France? I dont understand, cant we say sorry, hes here until October? Or is he too scared to rock the boat of his pay masters? You say rock the boat but both players have been dropped or not considered for Wallaby duties in the past so took up c...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt
It blows me away that we cannot find a spot in the Soup for JOC. Watching the SRAU games Max Fury was by far the best 10 on display, and he is not really even a 10. Keep him on board for the next couple of years. He looks in good nick. Meredith and HMP are nearly good 10s, but definitely not ready ...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt
Agree with that on Edmed. Just not even close to being ready. I doubt he will ever be. I’d guess Lynagh and Donno for the Bled. Mungo too. So passive in attack and defense. We really missed Frost. Paisami kicks too easily and he was once again loose in the carry. Showed some good things as well. Kel...

Win Pumas good for the victory.
Wallabies under strength in a number of key positions but still played some good footy in the second half.
Congrats Argentina.

Setting aside the assassination of Kirk for a second, more data out today that the US economy is not "booming" but rather is experiencing the first symptoms of stagflation. Back to Kirk, video of the shooter says that he is of college age. Seems to be a decent shot. Wonder who his next target will ...

Re: TRC 2025 - Pumas tour of Australia
Everybody miss tackles and I've seen him make a few good tackles. He's not Danny Cipriani/Andrew Merhtens/Quade Cooper shit. He's got heart plus it's not his job to be a top defender, being adequate is enough. No, get his head out of the way, avoid more concussions. Actually I saw the tackle using ...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt
Apparently he passed HIA 2 earlier today so if cleared on the next test it will not be regarded as a concussion. I dunno. I would be getting him fully checked out before allowing him to play again. Checked out, how? I don't think they're able to see what's going on (evidence of significant accumula...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt
Regardless, the point he got yanked he was well and truly f**ked. He was pulled because he felt hamstring tightness and then the video official called him for an HIA when he had already departed. Whatever it was he was running on fumes. Yes, he was pulling in the big ones. Has not played for a whil...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt
Lynagh failed another HIA yesterday. That’s 4 for the year. That should be him this year. No need to risk your health. That should be him, for life to be honest. I get the pressure he must be under but that's f-cked. Some people just aren't built to bash heads with human dump trucks at speed. He's ...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt
Donaldson seems like he is ready to go so hopefully can be on the bench this week? They need to be very careful with Lynagh moving forward and we need a few other options. Parling is the new Leicester coach so likely Schmitty can’t talk him into leaving JOC with the Wobs through the Bled.

Argies scrum is not great missing a few first choice. We need to start Slipper and AAA next week with Bell and TT on the bench. I think we can get the upper hand early at scrum time.

I thought he was very hard on Australia in the first half, particularly the first 20. We could not catch a break. In the second half many of his calls both ways were hard to understand. He lost control of the game.

Lynagh had a poor game. They targeted him and went through his area a lot. He needs to work on his defence. Being caught in two minds and not making a tackle is not on. Re: TRC 2025 - Pumas tour of Australia
The first yellow was bizarre and not a standard applied at the end. Very odd. Dumb comment. They'd given away 5 off-sides in the 5m in the first half, and that was the 2nd in a row in 2nd half. Always a yellow. It's not the YC that irked me. That one was within reasonable. But there were several oc...

I dunno why Joe don't like LSL. Me neither. Unless it’s a personality issue, I can only presume that LSL is scoring bad KPIs in metrics that we don’t have access to. He has the grunt and the ticker but maybe not the polish on his game…….yet. In those games he played against the BILs he was very phy...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt
Nah. He is always there or there abouts.
Only other options are to switch him with Jorgo or play JAS at 15, which means changing the midfield.
Jorgo should stay where he is, as should JAS and Lenny. No-one outside of the squad has played 15 at test level.

Hope AAA and Slipper are good to go. Play them for 40 and then bring in Bell and TT with either hooker and we could well dominate the scrum right through. We need to be smart. So far the Wallabiews have been excellent on the counter from broken play. Los Pumas are better. We cannot just kick the bal...

Good to get AAA back but Nonggorr has been going well. Same with Slipper and Robertson. Maybe start with the old blokes and bring Bell and TT on early in the second? Wright will be missed but we have a few coming back in. Tom Lynagh to start. JOC on the pine? LSL straight into he starting side for me.
