Re: Wallabies 2021 OFFICIAL thread

Yes the classic rugby opinions of certain races " hey look a brown player- he is talented but have to wait for him to evolve his brain". F**** off the racism is so obvious. In Australia obviously but this also happened and kept happening with Nonu in nz too. Despite him ending his last few years as...

Re: Wallabies 2021 OFFICIAL thread

If Petaia remains fit and has a decent career I would guess that he will be remembered as being extremely talented. He has the tools to comfortably play in test rugby and rare talent. He has had them from before the first time he ran onto a test pitch. He has had a rough run with injury but hopefull...

Agreed. I imagine that they will play him on the wing for now seeing that we are missing a few front line wingers. There might be a possibility to move him to 15 late in some of the RC games.

I didn’t know that the Brums were sponsored by AIG? We need penetration in the mid field, preferably at 13. Both Kerevi and Petaia can provide it. Having Kerevi at 13 with Petaia at 15 would be even better and give us more line breaking ability. Paisami and Ikitau were well contained by the young F...

Petaia doesn't play for the ponies, Olo, so you won't get much traction for that.

How often do you see actually pre-meditated thuggery on the field at the professional level. With players pay checks, and even careers at risk from the judiciary, no coach / player is going to make that call. Just make the players sanction more disincentiving. Saffa eye gouging, head butting, Owen’...

I would be open to that if all parties agreed but feel the 20 min red card send off and ban decided by the body would achieve the same thing. Acts of thuggery get a life or very long ban.

Either way a change needs to be made soon.

Can’t do an orange. That will make it more or less the same, opening up the door to judgement error on the field. Re: Wallabies v France July Tests

Surely the length of the ban matches the seriousness of the transgression? The 20 min period of playing with one man down is punishment enough on the team and keeps most games competitive. Players will not intentionally commit foul play if it means that all or part of their season is on the line. If...
