Re: **OFFICIAL** Women's Rugby World Cup 2025 Thread

They were good in the first half but couldn't really convert chances in to points. England defence was too good. I think you have half a sniff, a genuine chance against Canada. I think oz are much better than Canada. Really ? Let's not forget they only managed a draw v USA. England were way below p...

You could have just stopped there, given your complete lack of knowledge about why the Anglo-Welsh Cup stopped. Either way, ye lads will be grand (so) if the Welsh reejuns head to the Premiership. Loving my HSBC and Aviva shares. Bought 4,5 years ago and they've gained over 100% and 50% and still has a div yield close to 6%. I bought in about a year ago - mainly for the yield, they've increased 43% and 37% respectively + the dividends. Albeit quite small holding. The Aberdeen group is anothe...

Re: England v India test series

Woakes had his whites on today - so it looks like he might go in if the circumstances are right. He'd probably try and bat left handed so that his leading, right, arm will be facing the ball, keeping his left arm out of the way.

It'll depend on the match situation.

England's bowling was abysmal on Day 1 - just about the worst I've ever seen, aside from Atkinson. 16 wides and 4 byes (due to wild bowling) - and now they are a bowler (and batsman) down. How on earth did Overton get picked :x

The RugbyPass stats are, I believe, the only game-by-game stats available. The Opta stats show him averaging 7 passes per game, vs Tuipulotu's 11. That’s risible 6 carries, 2 passes, zero kicks. Awful bit of business for 80min of rugby. The worse he plays, the quicker Farrell can get his lad on !

Farrell would've started 10 Ireland players in the first test which was basically Gatland's 3rd test panic Welsh selection in 2013 except this was Farrell's starting point. No. Have you not been watching rugby lately? I’m not saying it’s right, just happens all the time. I’m a neutral here, and expected a penalty at least. I get where you're coming from, that World Rugby and ref's are really clamping down on high (and even marginally high) tackles. But this was a comp...

I'm not sure. Maybe overdone a bit, but there were a lot of debutants in the team, and keeping it in the yanks half was good for their nerves and keeping any momentum away from the yanks.
