Re: The official Lions 2021 thread

Hogg, AwJ, Harris, Owens, Sutherland….. We seem to do it every week, and I know there's lies, damn lies, and statistics...but AWJ outworked the rest of the pack by up to 3 times plus in defence. Perception is an odd thing. If I said someone put in more than 3 times the tackles of someone else, you'...

Re: Hand up, we lucked out there

There's always some marginal calls, I don't have an issue with any of the decisions - the fact remains that the best side won. They clearly had the upper hand (in the 2nd half) in the scrums, the line outs and in the kicking. They also played with a bit more ambition. The Lions were incredibly one d...

Re: Official Match Thread: BIL vs Springboks - 2nd Test - 31st July

Real lack of ambition from the Lions. We didn't even try to play some rugby. It was a poor spectacle. Yep. I don't think we made a single clean break and the wingers never saw a ball that wasn't coming out of the sky from a Saffa boot. We got absolutely monstered in the aerial battle - and in most ...

Pretty turgid game - quite compelling though. Lions have stuck to their game plan well.

Far too much whinging about the officials on here.

If it carries on like this it could get to at least 0.3 of 1% of cases being "serious" I'm not sure your 'bag of a fag packet' maths is entirely accurate or useful. If they had 876 serious case while the case rate was very low (around 2000/day) - where would you expect it to get if, say, cases went...
