Re: NZ Transgender Weightlifter Cleared to Compete by the IOC

Take the world 200th ranked male tennis player. Switch genders and he'll likely make the women's top 20. At age 40 probably still the women's top 50. Serena Williams wouldn’t take a set off the top 500 men in the world. Probably the top 1,000. 200th man would rank no. 1 in women’s tennis. As above ...

Re: WORLD TEST CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL- New Zealand vs India, The Rose Bowl, Southampton(moved from Lords because of COVID)

If they roll us without a lead we are in serious shite We need a lead and only about 180 to chase in the final innings otherwise it will be very difficult I don't think so. Not really. If we get rolled for say 150, then India will have a lead of 67 or so. India will then need to bat very cautiously...

Start delayed We're very sorry to say that it's not looking good for the prospects of play on this fourth day of the World Test Championship final. It's raining in Southampton, so we won't be starting at 10:30 BST. The forecast for the rest of the day is not good either. New Zealand are 101-2 in re...

Regardless of yesterday's tactics, the Hamilton cockup in Baku is what could eventually cost him the title. His main rival out and he had to play silly buggers going to the first turn on the restart was juvenile, and just after he had reassured his team too. You're making a lot more to it than it w...

It's only no penalty when it's Sterlings foot that the defender steps on Maybe if Sterling wasn’t a notorious diver - the ref might have given it more consideration Virtually everyone dismissed it as a dive but it was a stonewall penalty Get over it Step 0n someone's foot get a red card

In the box seat for a draw. A run rate of 2.25 does not scream going for the win, good bowling or not. Let's face it, India are approaching this defensively (as the points Kiwias made suggest). Feels like they are just happy to not lose, and that this WTC is not remotely a priority for them. Ive be...

India in the box seat at the moment . Kohli is going to get a century the way he’s going. He (and the other Indian batsmen to be honest) is very controlled, not chasing anything outside off but focusing on the occasional loose ball. Cricket is stuck in last century. No other sport would go off for bad light in the world final when you've had massive, fudge off flood lights on since ball one. This guy gets it. What next? Roofs over all four major golf tournaments so they can play even in inclement weather? Sounds pricey. Especi...
