Re: All Blacks 2024

Reece is a wet bar of soap and scores tries other wingers simply cannot.

Has to be in the 23 as a minimum.

Re: Do you do the 'pronouns' thing at the end of work emails?

I get it for names like Sam (she/hers) or Karol (he / him) but it is pretty sad to see a John or Greg (he /him) like it was a cliffhanger from the name I find it quite handy to have He / Him in my email signature as I have a rather unusual first name. Also, I am always amused to send emails to the ...

Re: OFFICIAL CANES V CHIEFS SEMI FINAL MATCH THREAD!

Very enjoyable game of rugby that will now have me going to YouTube to judge the Jacobsen decision as I didn't clock it down at the pub.

I went to the Warriors game last night and thought Mt Smart was a solid stadium, albeit quite small. No wonder they pack it out each home game.

Re: Premiership rugby final - Northampton Saints vs Bath

Couple of post hangover thoughts from me. 1 - Really disappointed by how Saints managed the ref. Same guy as we had last Friday, and we appeared to spend the match presenting exactly the same sort of picture, leading to us giving away way too many penalties. 2 - After we scored those two first half...

The Blues are farewelling him on the socials so looks like a done deal.

He will love life in Japan. The locals won't care about his lack of work ethic when he runs 40 metres with five native players hanging on for dear life.

Re: Premiership rugby final - Northampton Saints vs Bath

The game would be better served by a 20 minute red. The player does not return but can be replaced by a member of the reserves.

The original red card was meant for highly egregious malicious acts on the rugby field - not for accidental collisions in a fast paced contact sport.

Huge, disproportionate red in the 21st minute of the game. You guys need a 20 minute red. No way was that deliberately reckless. And before you start, I understand the rules. This is a thick take. And they are Laws, unless you're a wet Wendyballer. Getting hung up on terminology. A typically pedant...

Re: Premiership rugby final - Northampton Saints vs Bath

And a 20 min red card will not take those things away. Players will try to be just as much careful about hitting high because no one would want a red card. This is not a NH, SH thing. It's about ruining the spectacle whilst keeping the game safe. 20 minute red cards do not keep the game safe. They’...

Best: Queens of the Stone Age, Hard Rock Cafe, Las Vegas. Nuff said.

Worst: versus expectations it probably had to be Pearl Jam at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne. Miles away from the stage, queued for several bars which all managed to run out of beer before I got to the front. Booooooo

The problem with Ardie as captain is that if the ref talks to him 12 times all 12 times he will reply saying yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir.

He doesn't have the mindset to challenge calls like McCaw did or Barrett does.

He is not a captains ringpiece. Great player though.

I laughed at the wording from Netanyahu on looking into the “tragic mishap” at the refugee camp. “ We will investigate and come to conclusions. That’s our policy.” It’s a strange way to put it but perhaps very honest. Uncovering the truth isn’t the stated goal, just reaching conclusions. Nek minit,...
