Re: IT'S TIME TO PICK ON Rieko AGAIN.
Proctor was a lightweight out there. Even blew his own try! One or two regulation passes as part of moves isn’t anything to hail the great shite hope. Tupaea was far more assured at centre and he’s not even a centre. I believe if they’re going to go for kick kickity box kicks in the first 20 minute...

Re: Match 4: NSW Waratahs v B&I Lions
The crowd cheering Johnny Howard must have really triggered mattheexpat I remember Howard used to wear Wallaby jumpers/jackets on his early morning walks. This was in the early 2000s. Good rugby man. I'd imagine most of the PMs we've had since then had no interest in rugby or Leaguies, apart from A...

Yup. I don't rate Savea as a 7 and I never have. The ABs are always poorer for it when they make the mistake of picking him there. We lack a fetcher and while he's a hell of a ball runner, that isn't what the jersey calls for.

Re: ALL BLACKS V France C 1st Test. Match Thread.. Theo will be in attendance
Back line was poor as was the support play. It certainly looked poor when Mckenzie, Proctor and Ioane were involved. BB isn't my first choice #10 but I'm struggling to see the rationale for Razor dropping him. Why would you even think of dropping him. He won the game for the All Blacks. Nailed all ...

Well done and hard luck France. The ABs have a lot of work to do. The aimless kicking is still there. Our backs are not working. Too many playmakers trying to be stars cluttering up the moves and ruining flow. Sort that horrible shit out. France, what can you say, it's France, they were written off...

He's not a 7s ringpiece. We are a poorer side with Savea at 7. Ok, who at 7? Jdog enjoys being wrong about rugby. Robertson is another one in the long line of people who disagree with him and play Beauden at 10. 6. Finau 7. Savea 8 Sititi Will be fine when they are fit. If you dont believe my posts...

A wins a win.
I'm sure the "neutrals" will be out in force armed with their coulda shoulda wouldas but the scoreboard won't change.
Good to chalk a win to NZ after three consecutive wins to France in Paris.

The forensic reviews of all the disallowed AB tries just show why the penalty goal and drop goal are the king and queen of test level rugby.
Three disallowed tries including one where some fat cvnt magically would have tackled Beauden Barrett.
We're not far away from NFL.
Well done ABs.

Thought it was pretty clear tonight that we badly miss Sam Cane. He had his critics, and Ardea Savea has virtually none, but Savea was a poor shadow of what Cane brings to a test match.  Maybe watch the game again funny man, and look harder at how much ball we lost at the breakdown. Well done Scotland, overall I thought they looked the better side.
A bit bemused by the Kiwi commentators talking up Zarn Sullivan, I thought he was very average. Especially positionally.

Some of those on this thread seem to be completely missing your point. The guy was a sensational disaster as a 13. His competitors having been notoriously injury prone over those last five years. That’s what your hyperbole misses, not some weird experiment, he’s very often the last man standing and durable. This of course ignores the fact he's a dreadful centre given his instincts are the opposite of what is re...

I think we can almost guarantee Rieko will start at center in at least one of the games against France. Razor said everyone will get a go and he's clearly testing combinations. What would Razor be achieving by shoving Ioane back to 13 ? We have watched him botch the position for 5 yrs now, what els...

On the off chance that my boy Billy Proctor has a sh!t game this weekend, I may need to avoid this thread next week. No chance. If the forward pack fires and dominates the French, BB will get an armchair ride which will gloss over any of his deficiencies. Same as it ever was when the forwards go well. The NZ TAB has a 30.5 point line for this game.
That seems like very good value if you're a Reds supporter.
I know they have a few out bur you'd think they'd still be good enough to get a fair bit closer.
