With a giant lump at 6, the prospect of Earls at 7 and Mercer at 8 would be pretty mouthwatering. Apart from one premiership cup game Mercer has been bang average. Aled Walter’s deserves a lot of credit, we look very different physically. Genge and Maro in particular look significantly bigger than under Jones and still seem to be very fit.
