Re: The best new and returning TV series of 2024?
Watched the first episode of 'A Gentleman in Moscow' - looks promising, bit of a slow burner.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Boogate would be the perfect epilogue to this saga. The media and pundits, having blown so much smoke up ROG's arse will now have to objectively ask the question: "is he a dickhead?" Once again, talk of an epilogue. 😂 ROG has two back to back European medals against you in two finals. Yesterday was...

Re: Heineken cup quarter final - Bordeaux vs Harlequins
Quins to beat Toulouse next weekend and make the finals :P Why not but Toulouse know what's coming now. Provided they deal with Chiefs Toulouse beat Quins comprehensively at the Stoop few months ago. I was at the game. I think the chances of Quins beating them are pretty slim. Edit - I can't see Ex...

Re: Heineken cup quarter final - Bordeaux vs Harlequins
There were so many good players on that LI team. They were going places. Shame they were allowed to go bust. Yep, the last season they were playing some great stuff going forward. Their defence was leaky though and they ended up in some crazy high scoring games. *Second best defence in the league l...

Cunningham South adds much needed physicality to the Quins pack. Former London Irish player isn't he? I think I remember seeing him at LI. Correct. There were so many good players on that LI team. Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Right, let's get into this, why are Munster the way they are? Their best players on the weekend included POM and Zebo. What's going on with the young lads? Zebo was not one of the best players yesterday. He was just more noticeable. Like a blackhole, he bends light in his gravitational field so you...

Re: Northampton v Munster HEC.
Zebo didn't look great on the highlights. Poor Zebo looked out of sorts. He is still a fan favourite given the ‘Zeeebo’ chants at the game but he has no pace anymore and got skinned by Hendys final Northampton try at the end. Saints fans obviously very happy but you got the impression they were alm...

Re: The best new and returning TV series of 2024?
I watched two episodes and didn't really care for it. It's a bit sterile. Couldn't help but compare it with the film and I'm not sure it stacks up too well there. It probably doesn't need an extra six hours It's beautifully shot but the casting is not right. Usually a big fan of Andrew Garfield but...

Re: Listen to your body
Early Thursday morning, I had a mild heart attack, no massive pains or sweating or the like, but a general feeling of my chest being squeezed. So I drove to the ER and was shuffled straight into the operating room for a 2.5 hour op using catheter. They inserted three stents and I am able to sit up ...

Best flag is Albania's . Just love that flag It looks like something from the old Lego knights and dragons theme from the 90s. Exactly. How cool is that?! It seems that North Macedonia nextdoor is riffing off nostalgic themes as well by taking inspiration from the Banzai TV show. https://www.free-p...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
John Ryan suspended for 3 games. Disaster for us with Jager and Salasicknote already out. There's no 'could get' about this one. It will be ugly/sobering/chastening, and quite possibly hugely embarrassing. Maybe we'd be better off in the long run if we played to form and had our arses handed to us?...

I think the point is its bad law. It was bad law in England when it covered racial hatred now Scotland have extended it to multiple other named categories of people (not women of course). "Tolerable unfairness"
The term coined recently by those wanting men to be included in women sports as they argue that inclusion should be the starting point as opposed to fairness.
