Not great,I'll leave it at that.
He is a good lineout operator. He's also very useful around the park.

4.Ryan 5.McCarthy 18.Tuohy, if there's any justice
The only thing McCarthy should be running on Saturday is bath for the lads after the match!!

Tuohy has been very good this season. Not sure he could have done much more tbf. Big and aggressive, good lineout operator. Does the hard work but capable of a gallop too. Could steady Best in the lineout as well as he is use to his timing, who calls them for Ulster? Muller usually and in fairness ...

Did i see right when I saw a french player spill the ball forward in the build up to Frances try? Did i also see right when I saw Harinordoquy stand on Mike Ross face at a Irish ruck? You've a lot more patience than I would with the Munster WUMS, CM, that's for sure. Regarding Zebo - he is very exciting going forward, still has to learn to cut in and pass mind you, but afaik had defensive problems all through his career to date. The QF against Ulster will be a good tester for hi...

If Spence isn't a naturally a 13 what is he? And if you say 12 I'm going to fly to Dublin and repeatedly kick you in the throat. I don't think he has a natural position. He's an athlete and his physical makeup makes him a back, his deficiencies in certain areas mean he's not a 9, 10 or 15. So he's ...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Re. Zebo, moving Earls around has achieved very little. Leave Zebo where he is, in the context of replacing BOD we need a natural 13 and not a winger shoehorned in there. We have 3 natural 13s who may come good. Cave, Griffin and EOM, probably in that order. And with Cave it's more a case of hoping...

Has Simon Zebo ever played in the centre? on Friday night he showed he had good vision and a fantastic pass. Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

That's really missing the point of why he's been criticised. Yes and no. Some of his decision making was very poor and he was often very ponderous, but the slow developing box kicks are obviously a tactic (there is a reason every Irish scrum half has been doing them for years) and it is clear he's ...

What's the story with SOB then folks? Why is he playing rather averagely. Even allowing that he's playing at 7, you'd certainly expect more from him. Carrying an injury? Loss of confidence. A point on recharging. When I go to a filling station to fill up my tank most of the time there is someone at the pump ahead of me. This isn't a big deal because they will be filled up and away in a matter of minutes. But if it is going to take 40 minutes for them to charge up and 40 minutes for me ...
