Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
You have to wonder what the point of this is. Still a massive honour to play for your country, whether you're Irish or Portuguese. It's a pity the way this game has gone but they'll all be proud of their caps. Tier 1 should play these games more, imo, even if the results are verging on forgone conc...

Re: Official Los Pumas England 1st Test - 5/7/25
Before the match I wanted Argentina to win but they are so stupid and limited it has annoyed me. With a two man advantage they tried to bash it up the middle only finally, in desperation moving it out to the wing when they were back to 15 v 15. Not it's not over and they've just scored as I started ...

 Cliff Claven was always the best character in Cheers for a reason. At least you're not comparing me to Norm  Cliff was in Empire Strikes back! Cliff is the 3rd highest grossing actor in history (he's had a role in almost every single Pixar film) He was also in A Bridge Too Far

That's nuts. Whatever you think of the UK, by any measure that wasn't even close to being the worse song tonight That was very unfair, the UK song was one of the better efforts and at least the girls handled the score well. That Dutch guy did a much worse job with their 40 odd points. Estonia were ...

It is funny that it seems that for some people, with one putt, Rory went from being the biggest choker of the modern era to the best European Golfer ever.
I missed a couple of putts today, I'm glad I wasn't playing with them.

He doesn’t get on well with Darren Clarke also. Come across as nothing more than a bit of sour grapes. What an arse. I didn't see what he said but McGinley is supposed to be a decent sort and seems to be in favour of McIlroy. In the run up he was saying it was important for golf that Rory won and w...

You half the absurd mistakes and you're in with a chance of winning this. Very frustrating. Probably but Bordeaux are much, much better than us. Their speed, and their skills at speed, are fantastic to see. I know, they can do amazing things like win their own lineout and not fumble the ball.

A better question is how long before Irish players have to get into the international squad before they can break into the Leinster first 15?
