Re: RUGBY WORLD CUP FRANCE 2023 DRAW - Monday, 14 December 11:30 GMT

There is a lot of talking about France on here. And I am surprised to find that SH teams don't seem to rate Argentina that much. England - Argentina on current form wouldn't be a foregone conclusion. In 3 years, time, I have no idea. I've watched every Pumas and England match this past month. I'd e...

Not the same.thing. To conveniently leave out the Superbowl is kind of a big omission... The achievement is to run the season unbeaten, the Pats didn't manage it.

Casa de Papel - heard great things about it so started watching (season 1 of about 6) and thought it was a bit shit so gave up after about 4 episodes... from when does it start getting good? In my opinion never. It looks great and I suspect being in a foreign language makes the dialogue seem less c...

If they were so shit, somebody else would have done it by now. I'm sure there have been plenty of "better teams" with softer SOS who tried and failed. It's celebrated (very briefly, to be fair) because it's evidently an extremely hard thing to achieve. Dolphins fans don't give it much thought, it's ...

Re: Amazon to bid for 6 Nations rights. Yay or Nay?

Big TV money really saved Euro football clubs from Covid, didn't it? Money just goes into players, agents and blazers' pockets in the end. Pro rugby that seeks these kind of deals 1) as a profit-making business model and 2) as a sporting model trying to develop an edge over countries with a "Union" ...

Copenhagen (underrated in the sense that it's way way nicer than a lot of more touted Euro cities) Bologna Trieste Hamburg Rostock Ingolstadt Hokkaido Malacca, Malaysia I'd echo the Seville shout in that it's probably one of Europe's best cities bar none, but probably doesn't get that level of credit.

The list of Miami QBs since Dan is horrific. Abysmal. A noodle-armed one year cameo from Chad Pennington being the apex is all you need to know. I blame Stockdale in that scenario. You’ve got to hit the ball carrier. If he passes and the other guy scores, so be it, you’ve done your job. But you have to at least force the last pass. Every pass is a potential knock on. That said, others are more at fault fir letting it get that far. Exactly a...
