I don't want arbitrary, difficult-to-interpret laws that hinge around what is in many cases a flinching automatic reaction (is that really even "intentional"?). Especially not "high risk high reward" ones. I want simple and consistent laws. You are watching altogether the wrong sport then. Maybe tr...

Watching "The Great". Comic take on Catherine the great of Russia. If find it very funny, but comedies are usually the genre that throws up the most difference of opinion. Has some of the satirical and farcical elements of Blackadder without the same comic tone. Certainly worth checking out the firs...

Heaslip should have been capped by Leinster much sooner and when he was he was instantly brilliant.
Them's the facts.
Where he and Leamy fit for Ireland is a different question.

France in general seems to be in a massive decline. Most of its provincial towns/cities seem worse than they were a generation ago.
The difference in the towns when you cross the Pyrenean border from Spain to France is marked and not flattering.

Sorry to hear that Kiwias. In the cases of a fair few couples i know, things started out legal and a bit rancorous, but once the reality of what a contentious divorce involves settles in with everyone, things generally got more civilized. Sometimes to get there, one or both sides have to go through ...

Leavy is a big loss. Fingers crossed he'll be athletically ok when he gets back. But he was headed for greatness before the injuries. Real talismanic presence. The difference a Coetzee or Papaaili (sp?) would have made to us on Sun, even as a bench option, is massive. We were crying out for linebust...

Heaslip was a monster out the gate. Most of us were baying for him to be included sooner and then played more.
I like Conan and Doris but neither is at Heaslip's level, even early Heaslip.

Re: La Rochelle v Leinster
My issue with Leinster as currently constructed in the pack is that we neither have the power game nor the jackal game for contesting breakdowns. That's a no man's land you don't want to live in. The backline on front-foot ball can do stuff but we lack creators like Felipe who could give you easy ga...

Jags also take Etienne, The Clemson RB for Lawrence. Good move to help them both with a level of comfort. ROL is a smallish 13/winger who was very unfairly being asked to play 12 against Munster's biggest go forward threat nd best player, with 2 very raw halfbacks inside and outside a returning Ringrose probably trying to make a very cautious return to the game. A one year contract is interesting. It's entirely possible he's been brought back primarily as a fullback to play as back up to Keenan seeing as we've nobody else at international level.
