Re: AUNZ XV v Lions
Another highly praised, highly decorated, multi match and title winning player Bimbo has decided is actually shit. Nobody said he was shit. Only that sucking him off for that performance is hardly warranted. He was okay. He was decent, he was involved and didn't make egregious mistakes. But "outsta...

Re: AUNZ XV v Lions
Hansen has been outstanding tonight. The problem though is the standard of opposition here, impossible to read anything into anything we're seeing tonight as the opposition is so disjointed. To be honest the only noteworthy events here are the timings of the substitutions. The actual rugby is irrel...

Re: AUNZ XV v Lions
Bummed as I feared. The AUNZ treated the game as a piss trip and were duly caned. Not only should the Kiwi players be noted by Razor, he should make a note of banning them from ever becoming All Blacks. Mate the Kiwis - and LSL for a half - were the only ones who looked like they cared. The respons...

Re: AUNZ XV v Lions
He really hasn’t. Sometimes you Irish are deranged. You really must have an agenda if you don't think Hansen was good tonight. Or you don't know anything about rugby, it's one or the other. He's been okay. It's not like he's been carving everyone up, even this disjointed mob. He's involved himself ...

Re: AUNZ XV v Lions
This is embarrassing.. A training run for Lions. I hope Wallabies will be better than this rubbish. The Wobs will be way better. This side is absolutely reeking of having no time at all together. It's like the coach explained the gameplan to them in the locker room before they ran out. It's got all...

Sky reporter saying this is the toughest test so far, this lot that's never played together before have been abysmal ffs  Lions would be 50+ up with their A team. Maybe they meant the most bruising. Like I said before, as a team they're playing like a bunch of randoms in a 4th grade club side ...

Take both centres off now. Should start next week. I'd be highly surprised if Aki didn't start but all three will be involved, IMO. Assuming Ringrose out. I thought Aki has been pretty average tbh. I wouldn't want to tackle the guy with even half a head of steam but other than that he's been meh.

Is that sarcasm or are you watching something else?
They're not short on effort from individuals. But as a team they're playing like a 4th grade club side that was thrown together the morning of the match and don't even know each others names.

Re: AUNZ XV v Lions
There's probably a reason why they're not called ANZACS in the first place. The original jersey has "ANZACS IX" in the logo. Not sure if they changed it this time, but it is a replica jersey. The commentators are probably insisting on " AU NZ" for a reason because it sounds clunky as f-ck. "Anzacs"...

Re: AUNZ XV v Lions
The Anzac team has been very disappointing. I was really hoping they'd make a close game out of this. They haven't even looked like scoring and their defence is all over the shop. It would be nice if the concept was taken more seriously, but a flogging here and they'll probably never do it again. I...

As far as the jerseys, they're gold and black. Shorts are green, socks are black. Seems even enough.

Just seen that AUNZ jersey. Very little black on there! Yeah, it's shit when you think of the cultural motifs/colours/design they had available. It's the same as the original one. Which I still own. Part.gold, part black. Where the white came from I don't know, but it's a throwback to the first one...

It is always amusing watching people who clearly know nothing about Scottish rugby showing how little they know. You think fielding South Africans and Australians in your national side is sign that everything is hunky dory? Or do you just think it's a good plan in the long run? Look, I like Scotlan...

Re: Scotland v Fiji - on now.
Yes they could, it just wouldn't be very good. Which is perhaps what is ultimately required. You can't build rugby in any nation starting from the top and hoping for something akin to "trickle down economics" to happen to the player base. It's bullshit. It's a short term quick fix band aid that hur...

... and why the f-ck is this only on paid TV?
It's like the dead shits in charge of the ARU intentionally try to sabotage the growth of the game in Australia.
Every single Lions game should be live and ad-free on the ABC like the old days.
C-nts.

Re: AUNZ XV v Lions
The jersey looks similar to the original. Which I bought in 1990ish and still fits. Because I bought one 4 sizes too large because it was the only one they had left. It was my training jersey from the ages 12 to 43. I think this could be a good game. I wish the ANZAC thing was taken more seriously, ...

And a scoreline not reflective of the dominance the Fijians have displayed. I thought it was no mercs, but there were a few kiwis. Crusaders legend fergus Burke was the 10. Re: All Blacks V France B 2nd Test Match Thread.
I hate those jackel calls. The AB 8 wasn't on the ball, wasn't supporting his weight and the ruck had formed.
He still got the call somehow.
FFS at the very least you have to be actually on the ball, not just grasping at it.

Would have been a blow-out if they scored 3 extra tries that they didn't score? Sure. Just kidding. Two of those held-up tries were probably tries, but to be fair impossible to give after seeing the evidence. Unlucky, but that's the game. The VDF one was clearly grounded - kinda weird decisio...

Well done Lions. Good game. Happy with how our boys played, a lot of second and third (and 4th technically) stringers our there and kept it relatively close.
