Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)

Beale was great in 2010. Rest of the time he was fat and shit. Stephen Moore played 129 tests, but you don’t seem to rate him. Stephen Moore was military medium. He was 3x the player Beale was. Are you about to cry? Moore was a mediocre player - if he was born in any other country we wouldn’t...

Re: Stupid laws world rugby have created in recent years

I like the current game. Restrictions of headshots great , and tacking lower brings more offloads. Kicking , while the time taken can get boring is a required skill that deserves rewards and makes a place for lighter more skilful players beyond “running”. It also allows rest time for the heavier pl...

Re: Stupid laws world rugby have created in recent years

Did I just read that kicking the ball away is the problem with test rugby? Difficult to say. Not too long ago the Aussies and Kiwis did complain that the Boks were kicking too much, we need to see ball in hand attacking rugby all the time. No time for any of the other shyte rugby stuff apparently. ...

As a Kiwi and spiritual guardian of the game I believe I speak the truth when I say Jeremy Guscott is one of the All time greats. Manu would struggle to make the ABs most years. Ryan Crotty made the ABs plenty of times, as did plenty if centres that don’t hold a candle to Tuilagi. I’m sure Tuilagi ...

The scrum feed used to be given to the team going forward if the ball didn’t come out of a collapsed maul. This was changed to the defending team getting the feed. I don’t remember hearing the outcry. Did RA change a ‘fundamental part of the game’ when they made this change? This law change was inte...

The dolphins appear to be way out in front of the bridge, by a couple hundred feet or so judging by the scale of some of the pics, and the ship came in at an angle behind them. Basically a nautical Maginot line. https://ewscripps.brightspotcdn.com/dims4/default/b6481d6/2147483647/strip/true/crop/63...

This is the bridge in Hobart I mentioned earlier. A bulk carrier struck it, killing 12; five in cars and seven on the ship. If you look closely you can spot two cars dangling over the far edge. https://i.guim.co.uk/img/media/b12a242fdeb909ed01d63c80d7e2f1badd68e742/0_0_3937_2610/master/3937.jpg?wid...

So how would you reward this "good defensive play"? A 5m scrum, where they can kick the ball 30m up field and directly to touch?
