Re: AUNZ XV v Lions

People have a problem with Hanson because he seems to do things effortlessly. It doesn't look impressive and people think anyone can do it. But he's very effective and gets involved a lot. Plus he’s smart and quick. He isn’t that quick. He ran down Donaldson with ease recently and he’s not slow.

AUNZ playing pretty well. Is that sarcasm or are you watching something else? They're not short on effort from individuals. But as a team they're playing like a 4th grade club side that was thrown together the morning of the match and don't even know each others names. That's not surprising as it's...

Gee, he’s really putting himself about, isn't he? And leaving a few bruises.
I reckon a 6-2 split on the bench would include LSL. JOC can cover all the backs positions.

Went to the Scotland-Samoa RWC game there in 2019. My main recollections of the stadium were that it was extremely hot and humid and that the seats were made for Japanese children.

My three cents. Overall, the Lions look fantastic in attack and the defence has been very solid. If Marika shows any kind of form he should be straight into the test side. I love the guy, but he won't have the familiarity of the others, so I don't think we'll see anyone 'new brought in for the Lions series regardless of how they play.
