This isn’t advertising, although that’s a small part of it. Amazon has a $2t market cap and much of that value is based on assets that weren’t imagined in the 70’s. The world has changed so much that many of the fundamental old rules of business aren’t even relevant any more. People in the 70’s coul...

Re: Wallabies v France July Tests

Far too rational Froggie. Rational? How about we try to find ways to maintain the equilibrium of the contest? 15 against 15? Tackle lower and there’s no risk. MK copped a bad call, and the 20 minute red card is a great approach that I hope is adopted, but players’ behaviour needs to change.

The big question is, wtf have Australia and NZ been doing with their vaccination roll-out? Both basked in the adulation for isolating their populations to keep them safe, but now they’re the worst performers of developed world when it comes to doing something far more difficult.

Kiwis in 2021 - it’s impossible to have a single player as the best in the world as each position is so different

Also kiwis in 2021 - Richie McCaw is undoubtedly the best player of all time.

12 years ago I played 4th grade in Perth a few times to fill in. It’s not a great standard but it’s still rugby. Geoff Stooke played every game - he was 60 and he played for many years after that. He wasn’t even the oldest in the team - last time I checked he’d played over 900 grade games of rugby -...

I didn’t know that the Brums were sponsored by AIG? We need penetration in the mid field, preferably at 13. Both Kerevi and Petaia can provide it. Having Kerevi at 13 with Petaia at 15 would be even better and give us more line breaking ability. Paisami and Ikitau were well contained by the young F...

I made a comeback at 37. First game was like magic - in front of my new wife I played like a genius. First tackle of the game the ref had to blow time off as some poor fellow had to find his lungs and rib cage that had been scattered across the park from my left shoulder. He was literally crying.
