Re: Why are ozzies such porkers?

I find it hard to believe the UK is so far down that list.
In NI anyway it must be higher. I’d say 60-70% of women aged 30+ are porkers, and probably 50-60% for blokes.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Sexton is too old. Lots of players, even outhalves, continue playing past 33 and longer. He’s too old for Ireland to rely on him for the 2023 RWC, but he isn’t too old to play test rugby. He's 36 this year. He's definitely an outlier. But when you think about it, we've had only 3 decent FHs in over...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

If Sexton is “the best we have” at 10 we are fûcked one way or another. Better to let somebody else have a chance at fûcking it all up. My Sexton prediction is that he’ll probably have a decent game against Wales, an average one against France, good game against Italy (I could do a job for us again...

We’ll get hammered by France and England.
Will make what should be an easy win over Scotland seem difficult. And trample over Italy.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

My theoretical squad was based on the assumption that the likes of Nordi and Faddes are on decent money and that we’d be under pressure to cut costs. Nordi has been a lot better of late but I don’t think he’s crucial to Ulster in the same way as other lads that are probably on decent salaries are, l...

I don't think Luke McGrath or JGP will be losing too much sleep over this 9 taking their places in the future. For some reason we’re not very good at producing scrum halves, one mediocre one after another coming through the academy since Luke McGrath . Apart from McGrath the only scrum half of note...

From a Leinster perspective you'd love to see Corkery on ASAP and shift 10-12-13 all out one. The midfield has been very poor and there's actually space aplenty for them to exploit. The Leinster backline, especially the 9 seem to be chucking pies. They are struggling to hit the line at speed becaus...
