Re: Warren Gatlands appaling record against the big 3
Member since last board wipe of January 2012. Total number of posts: 17. 11 of them in this thread he created today. Actually I have been a member since I think around 2003 may have been before used to visit scrum. Com back then. I fancied a rugby discussion about Gatland. Didn't realise it was a m...

Re: Warren Gatlands appaling record against the big 3
You're comparing oranges with apples. Hensen had a fraction of the time that Gatland did, this resulted in a better standard of player coming through. If you compare rugby styles Hensen wins hands down

Re: Warren Gatlands appaling record against the big 3
I completely agree, I honestly thought we were going to get pumped in that 3rd test, I don't think enough credit was ever given to the team for that 3rd test performancePlato'sCave wrote:Getting a draw v NZ with the lions was pretty good to be honest.

Re: Warren Gatlands appaling record against the big 3
My point isn't if he is a good coach or not his record speaks for it's self with Wasps and Wales. It's more that he has never been called out on the subject matter on this post. The players that Wales have make them a team who should beat the world's best teams home and away. With far more consiste...

Oh yes I will give credit for new zealand but that Australian team of 2013 were woeful.
Am I being harsh probably!

No I can assure you I am not. I just don't post very often, the whole Gatland love in was something that peaked my interest.Saturnine wrote:10 posts. 4 of which are on this topic.
Obvious multi is obvious.
I have no way of proving that I am not, though

Re: Warren Gatlands appaling record against the big 3
When Wales beat Australia I genuinely thought they had got a monkey of their back. But against South Africa it looked to me as though they didn't think they could win. Their try apart they didn't show anything with the ball. They have some world class players and with a new coaching set up maybe the...

Re: Warren Gatlands appaling record against the big 3
But why prioritise the 6 nations, Gatland should have done more to win away from Cardiff against South Africa for example. Winning the 6 nations doesn't help teams win the world Cup. Look at Irelands dire World Cup record yet they have won more grand slams then England in recent history.

Hardly kicking him whilst he's down. I thought I would wait until yesterday's game was played otherwise my point would have been moot.

Warren Gatlands appaling record against the big 3
Why is this guy considered a coaching genius? In over a decade of coaching Wales they lost 14 times to Australia, never beat New Zealand home or away and only ever beat South Africa in Cardiff with the exception of a one off game in the states. Until Wales lose the chip on thier shoulder that it's O...

Re: U13s tour rules suggestions
Isn't it depressing that it's come to being weary of what can be constituted fun on an under 13 rugby tour. I remember touring with my under 13 team with the under 16s when who had saved all year for a mountain of beer which we with the youth coaches blessing were allowed to help ourselves to a can ...

Not certain but pretty sure I was before 2003 although I did use to post on the old scrum.com forum. So maybe I am getting confused.

Re: The OFFICIAL filum thread 2.0.Accept no substitues.
Two good films this week, Rush and wolf of wall Street Rush, This film was one of those bolters that got my attention from the beginning and did not let go until the credits. I never watch F1 and knew nothing about nikki lauder and only a little bit about hunt. Well filmed as you would expect from a...

Re: The filum thread 2.0
I watched warrior the other day. It was what it was and have to say I enjoyed it. The British actor I think his name is Tom hardy was massive in the neck and shoulder area. The other main guy an Australian actor I think seems to have good screen presence because he was good in another film called an...
