Re: Mungoball's Global Contraction III - Revenge of the Mung
RL is a provincial club game and it's failed to expand because it's not good enough. I can't see any evidence to the contrary and plenty to support the claim. Harsh, but fair. The biggest problem is that Australia dominates the sport, sets the rules, decides the international schedules, stacks othe...

Re: Shute Shield
Eastwood and Norths tomorrow, should be a very good contest. Keep an eye on Pat Sio, Norths #6. Not all that big, but looks tough and skilfull.

Re: Shute Shield
Some interesting games this weekend. Norths really impressed me against Eastwood, if they get Beale back for a few games they will give the finals series a real shake. Patrick Sio looks like a great prospect, still a bit of growing to do, but for his age he looks pretty good. Interstate fans check y...

Re: Shute Shield
I work at T.G. Milner behind the bar (still studying), so I don't get to see much of the games. Yesterday was by far the biggest crowd we've had all season though (or they were the thirstiest, at least). Great to hear. We were down there for the Gordon game, also a pretty good crowd, and a good gam...

Re: Shute Shield
Go the Woodies! Did anybody see the game? We don't get the replay until Tuesday morning. A fair few Wallabies were expected to play, how did they go? You should be able to get it on iVoew before Tuesday? True, but I prefer to watch it on the big screen, we do not have the technology to watch intern...

Re: Mungoball's Global Contraction III - Revenge of the Mung
As if RL could get into the CGs let alone the Olympics, that's just a purely churlish response from a usually sensible Druzik. Is there any evidence of this abandoning of 15s for 7s? Where can I join up a Rugby 7s club, anybody know of one in their area? One or other version of loig - perhaps nines...

Re: Mungoball's Global Contraction III - Revenge of the Mung
Parra, those SA cumulative numbers you are referencing are for the first 10 rounds only-2011 vs 2012. Derp. Do you understand that the season runs for 21 rounds plus finals? Do you also understand that by including SOO and Test match RL in your RL aggregates, you need to include Rugbys test matches...

Re: Shute Shield
Now on ABC1. Look at the state of Uni Oval for god's sake, there's a 20x20m swimming pool in the middle of it. been chucking it down all day. It's a pigsty at best. The spectator facilities are terrible. It's about time the game moved on, and left these overgrown schoolboys to play with each other ...

Why the fear of League?
Fear? Boredom is the word.
If you are a loig supporter, try finding a name for your game that does not include the word "rugby".
Then we will leave you alone. Promise.
