Re: Wallabies v France July Tests

Not sure I agree. Clear and egregious foul play should always result in a player leaving the field. If its not clear, I agree let the judiciary sort it out. But if someone punches another in the head, they should leave the game and the team should suffer. Otherwise, I agree with the 20min rule. I a...

All I care about is that we won with 14 men.

Oh, and the farking rules have to be changed. 20 minutes for a red, unless there is an instance of deliberate foul play which could result in injury to a player.

I though Noah and a great series. His first test was meh, but really was due to poor service. He was cool calm and collected for the next two, that intercept was really well read. Off the tee he was brilliant. I have to wonder if JOC would have kept us in it. JOC is so good at sparking up a backlin...

In retrospect, we were probably lucky that a player of Hodge's experience was on the bench, given that we lost our two starting wingers in the first three minutes or so.

I cannot see a neutral referee being able to be used, so there will be controversy regardless of who is appointed.

Angus Gardner would be a good pick.

Who else rates?
Glen Jackson. At least he has played the farking game.

It's pretty obvious that none of you whingers played back when the referee was the sole judge of everything, the touch judges were supplied by the two teams and only adjudicated the sidelines and goal kicks. So anything that happened out of the referee's vision was okay.

Wonder how both coaches will prepare for the last game now that the series are tied. Rotate players? Keep the same ones? I would expect the French to beef up their forwards a bit. For us it will come down to (a) who amongst the playing group are available and (b) what sort of game we want to play. ...

Over both tests we have looked tactically naive. On the other hand the French have been astute. They changed up their pack and just rolled us last night. Rennie is the head coach. The full coaching team looks as competent as we can hope for, IMHO. Do they all get sacked if Rennie goes?

Our domestic game is in a state of flux, changing coaches now or even in the next year or so would be totally idiotic.

Russians are in the same boat. Lot of skepticism in Russia about their homemade vaccines. A few countries have returned the Russian vaccine. All the elites and power-garchy prefer the western vaccines. Let’s list all the successful Russian inventions: - AK-47 - Sputnik. That was an absolute triumph.
