Re: Greatest current guitarist

Of course it’s just down to taste. The only think I think we could objectively admit is that the average technical level today is way way higher than it was only 30 years ago. Random teenagers on YouTube or TikTok today would eat Satch or Vai alive and they are the first ones to admit so (or at leas...

Re: How did you discover this exquisite theatre of balletic violence?

Started playing as a teenager in the deep south of Italy in the late 90s. The coach had lived and played rugby in the UK and wanted to export it. Before Italy even joined the 6N. I was by far the youngest and smallest in the team. Back then rugby wasn’t known outside of Veneto Lombardia and Abruzzo,...

Dumb question can anyone explain why the fend can’t be off the body? I understand why Russell got red carded but I didn’t understand the commentators’ explanation about the first infraction.

Re: It's official, Sweden declare themselves the Covid winners

As more countries impose COVID curfews, scientists ask: Do they work? If people are compliant social distancing obviously works. It's not rocket science You see, that's the problem right there. Scientists need to leave their labs from time to time and get out in the real world where things often do...

Kiwias: number of games equals financial impact. Don't be daft. We're all adults here there is no need to hide behind words. As regards the lurkers, I can only speak for myself. I've been around since 2004 or so, when the forum looked much much different. Over the years I've lost interest because re...

Apologies in advance, I saw this comment online and I had to share it  "Sergio Parisse I think deep down is just gutted he couldn’t add one more loss to his impressive test match losing record of 106 tests out of 142 played." it doesn't really take a genius. They will have to have a contingency plan in place as of next week according to the very same rules they followed yesterday. So it's not impossible. They were just unwilling to do it for the pool stages, likely due to financial reasons. All the rest (safety, lack of ...

Re: Italy not allowed to play - a disgrace for the sport

I assume none of the posters here works in logistics. The lack of a plan B is bad. It's difficult to re-arrange a RWC match but if you leave it at the last minute it becomes impossible. This RWC's rules specifically state that pool stages' matches could be cancelled (https://www.rugbyworldcup.com/to...

TB: The situation didn't favor NZ but they wouldn't care, they were through either way. It literally took away the tiny chance Italy had. Even you should be able to get this or are you such a one sided Kiwi supporter?

The Italian captain is suggesting it wouldn't have been canned if it was the AB's that needed the points . What is he suggesting here? I find it amusing that even in the face of a force of nature, some people still find a way to blame NZ. Paid off the refs for decades, a global conspiracy, an...

It'll be around 42k SEK net a month so it should be a decent salary for a single guy?

I stopped drinking alcohol 4 years ago so I'm pretty sure I won't be impacted by systembolaget's crazy prices!
