Re: The best Irish thread ever

Jack wasn’t great and I do really wish he’d shot the lights out tonight but he’s been out of that team for the guts of a year, he needs a run of games. Either that or Farrell just decides to persist with Sam, though he looked short on confidence tonight. We just need to back a 10 at this stage and ...

Re: Grand Slam Tour: Ireland vs All Blacks: MATCH THREAD: Saturday 1st Nov

Baird is a waste of space. I have believed for a good while that Coombes should be POMs successor in green Baird saved us twice when Jordan stepped the first man on the kick chase, he's an athlete. Ireland need someone to truck up untidy ball and drive back the opposition in defence. Baird doesn’t ...

We have 2 v flawed out halves :(( Agree but I think Crowley is the slightly less flawed - that said Prendergast has plenty of time to come good None of our current 10 options are really the complete package, it’s just a question of who can we get the most out of in the short and/or long term. Congrats Munster. A proper spanking. Amazing what a decent coaching ticket can do. The key to beating Leinster (and Ireland) is to slow down their ruck ball. Leinster have lost a lot of very tight games over the last ~5 seasons. I know it was a long shot from that distance, but I thought they probably should’ve taken the 3 after the high tackle, and THEN go for the try.

But they might get a chance after all.
