Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
It is amazing how Ulster Whiney and Winnie spend the whole year telling us how much better Ulster players are then their Leinster counterparts but when their A team are playing our C team. They won't back them the same players to put Leinsters to the sword. Talk about lack of backbone. At least Wil...

No outrage from the Leinster heads about Healy getting a central contract extension. How surprising... Ireland starter gets one year extension Ireland six nations sinking idiot gets two year extension I think Healy probably should be cut loose at this stage of his career. Cut loss a starter yeah? :...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
It's very hard to argue that POM is in better form than Ruddock but at his peak POM had many more strings to his bow as a player. Been a few years since we've seen it mind. Apart from the Autumn internationals where he played quite well... As I said, filling the Kearney void. Just saw a reddit thre...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
He's not currently better than Ruddock “Still” suggests there was a time when he normally was, which is debatable at best. POM was Lion's captain at his peak. Ruddock was a bit-part international at his peak. Must be one of the only Lions captain completely dropped the matchday squad after 1 test. ...

Simon Thomas (Welsh rugby journo, he's pretty decent tbf) saying Lions tour going to be held in UK&I including 4 tests. It would be amazing if we can get the vaccine rate high enough to allow fans to attend games! I'd imagine that with current vaccination rates and forecasts fans here in Britain wo...

RG Snyman back running at something like full tilt. :smug: It would be great to have him and Joey at full tilt going into knockout games. It'll be interesting to see what Munster do with the 10's if everyone is fit. It's not unlikely that Munster will be playing some parts of games with four 10's o...

Difficult one. Glasgow wing has to make the tackle, but it had to be a penalty try regardless.

I'd like to see it again. On first watch, it was incredibly dangerous, but contact was the to the back so maybe only a yellow.earl the beaver wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 5:24 pm Wonder if the citing commissioner will take a look at Ryan's clearout.

You feel for anyone playing 14 for Ireland. The Irish backs struggle to pass off their left so the ball rarely gets to the right wing.

Terrible by Kelleher.
He needs to work on his throwing. If he can get it to Pro14 standard, he'll have the Irish 2 jersey wrapped up for the immediate future.
