Still some tickets available. No bronze seating, but silver can be picked up for the bargain price of $360.
To rich for my blood, but hopefully those that have sold a kidney get to watch a decent game.

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt
I’d go for that too but I reckon Schmitty will start Donno with Lynagh on the bench if fit in the first. Looking ahead to the next RWC it will be Lynagh with HMO,Creighton and/or Meredith you would think. I doubt Donaldson will be in the mix. However we are where we are right now and Donaldson seem...

Re: The NRL catch-all thread
Go QLD! Great game last night. QLD win the deciding State of Origin game 24-12. Against all odds, in Sydney, in front of their women and children. Hear the lament! As a Cowboys fan it was great to see Tom Deardon win player of the match, and the Wally Lewis Medal for player of the series. So happy ...

Re: Brumbies v Lions Wed, Jul 9
The SOO match will likely be in the top 5 watched programs for the whole year. It's a decider so it will rate highly. I'll be watching both somehow. I'm a rabid QLDer so it is in my DNA to get all frothy-mouthed at this time of year. Yep, I'll be in the same boat. Hopefully my time will mostly be s...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt
Anyone being brought into the squad now that Lolo's officially been ruled out? I'm not sure who there next cab off the rank would be? From soup, there's JOC, Edmed, HMP, Creighton, Debra, maybe one or 2 others. Quade and Foley extreme long shots, but possible I suppose. Or just keep our fingers cros...

Re: GAME OF THE WEEK: Australia vs Fiji
The fact we don’t actually have an international level fly half is probably a different conversation. All of our 10's are capable of some good moments, the problem is stringing those good moments together consistently throughout a game. I think Lynagh is probably the most consistent, but I worry ab...

Was a bit disappointed with the atmosphere at the ground last night. None of the singing and carrying on from the Lions that I remember from the 2001 tour. Maybe it'll be different for the tests.

Indeed, heading along to this one (managed to pick up some last-minute third-tier tickets for $40 over the weekend) - thought the ticket prices were a bit outrageous at first but $40 is a no-brainer for an one in 12 years event. That all sounds positive enough. Ironically, I’m not sure that Paisami strengthens the Reds - Pakeho and Flook make for a higher quality midfield imo. Reds v Lions? 1. Fa’agase 2. Faesler 3. JTA 4. Canham 5. LSL 6. Uru 7. Bryant 8. Brial 9. Kalani 10. HMP 11. JYD 12. Paisami 13. Flook 14. Anderson ...

Fez and Paisami released for the Reds clash against the Lions... Check that game’s lineup against the one that plays on Friday…… The Emerging Irish were basically a development team of sub-internationals, who barely played together before or since. They shouldn't be beating a club side. They didn’t actually beat the Force club side……… The Lions are playing them ...

The victory over the Lions by the wonderful Puma B team convinced me of 2 things: 1 That Joe Schmidt has little to worry about with the Lions attack: we would smoke them everywhere from 15 right through to the loose forwards. FFS this is a side that hasn't played together before and they all ...

I'm happy for Joe to rest the 23 or so test players, but it's a shame that Ben Donaldson hasn't been made available for his club. But it's not right. His crap argument is that the lions won't play their test team every week. They certainly won't be resting 23 players until the tests, and his player...

The Saffer cricket team of the early 90s had the likes of Simcox and Brian McMillan, who both seem to qualify; however any team with Doug Walters is hard to top. Though I would never describe Ian Chappell as a larakin. He was more of a boorish wanker. He was literally the opposite of a larrikin. St...

Glad the Reds backline found a bit of form against the Drua, they've been fairly pedestrian the last few weeks. Perhaps Flook made the difference. Obviously it'll be a different story against a much tougher opposition in the Saders, but at least they go in with a bit of momentum.
