Re: BBL another disaster in the making?
I've loved watching test cricket all my life, and will still happily watch it for hours on end if I'm allowed to. So it took me quite a few years to get into the BBL and T20 in general, but I quite like it now. I've taken the family to see 2 Heat matches over the last couple of weeks. Ticket prices...

Re: Wallabies 2020 thread
McReight is the one. I started the year as a skeptic. He’s a ridiculous player, a natural leader and extremely well spoken. He’s not your usual candidate. Australia will love him. Maybe Tupou would be awesome, but I’m not sure he’s done the job before so it seems pretty random. Anyway, I jumped on ...

Yeah, he could have played 150 tests for the Wobs. Still has a few years to go so may well end up with 70 or 80 caps anyway though.J Man wrote:Good call. Too much of an ego ruined his talent.BokJock wrote:James O'Connor been mentioned yet?

Perhaps they'll continue with the games, but in closed stadiums. I believe the AFL are considering this option, and probably other sports too.

Re: Reds vs Bulls: MATCH THREAD: Sat 14 March
Teams updated in the OP. Bryce Hegarty on the wing for the Reds. Assume this is to get someone with half a chance of kicking a goal onto the field, but seems a bit odd. I suppose he'll spend a fair bit of time at fullback though. Not sure about the forward changes either. With no Smith or Rodda, its...

Dave Aldred, Johnny Wilkinson's ex-coach, is the Reds goal kicking coach isn't he? Yeah, he was around for the last year or 2 but doesn't seem to listed on the Reds website anymore, so assuming he's goooooooone. Very bad planning if this is the case, their kicking (both for goal and general play) i...

Well done Saders.
Entertaining game, despite all the mistakes from both teams.
First order of business for the Reds, find a kicking coach. If we already have one, shoot him and get another.

Well done Sharks, way to good in the end, particularly over the closing stages. Bad night for the Reds. Lineout shit all night - how many throws did we lose 5 meters out from their line? Scrum shit when the subs started coming on. Aside from one or 2 nice moments, our attack was pretty poor, couldn'...

It’s fair to say QLD (with the exception of Mt Isa and Townsville) is the last bastion of safety in Australia. I nearly got rolled in Charters Towers recently.
