Re: Which decade of rugby captures your heart the most?

I remember watching the 01 series with a mate in a pub in town and when the Wobs made yet another comeback with that Kefu try and his comment was "How the f*ck do they keep doing it?". It seemed like the Bled was so close yet so far... Kinda funny now you consider it was just a 5 year reign given t...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt

Tate has been the biggest loss this year. His ability to turn games in the last 25 mins is unmatched. The step down from White/Tate to Gordon/Lonergan is massive. The Wallabies have not recovered from it and don't look like they will. 10 is far less of an issue IMO. JAS is fine in the centres for n...

Re: Official Guinness v Foster's Match Thread

Thanks for that DD. On seeing the word flid I just accidentally spat flob all down my chin. It's losing its traction these days. Aus look like they're coming to play. Had to google the meaning of flid and flob. We certainly have some flids in the Wobs squad, but hopefully less playing this weekend,...

Few years ago now, but as I recall the most illegal thing about that tackle was Mapimpi jumping into it. Very dangerous, lucky Marika wasn't knocked out.

80s or 90s. Both decades were pretty good times for Reds and Wallabies. All been pretty meh since then, aside from the occasional false dawn to get the long suffering supporters hopes up.

So,
1. Lynagh
2. JOC
3. Lolesio
4. Donaldson
5. Edmed.

Edmed is 5th best of an ordinary bunch tbh.
You also forgot Gordon SMH saying he will start at 10 against the Italians

Reds now have 4 good/decent flyhalves, 3 good inside centres, one good winger and bugger all at fullback. Campbell is serviceable super rugby fullback. HMP and Volavola can play there too. Super Rugby AU is a 3 round competition - do you believe that this should be the third tier? 3 rounds isn't enough for any tier. Yep. This is a stop gap to get more miles on the tires, but its a start. Not sure why they wouldn't have made it a 6 round home and away comp. $$$ I suppose.
