Re: Which decade of rugby captures your heart the most?
I remember watching the 01 series with a mate in a pub in town and when the Wobs made yet another comeback with that Kefu try and his comment was "How the f*ck do they keep doing it?". It seemed like the Bled was so close yet so far... Kinda funny now you consider it was just a 5 year reign given t...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt
Tate has been the biggest loss this year. His ability to turn games in the last 25 mins is unmatched. The step down from White/Tate to Gordon/Lonergan is massive. The Wallabies have not recovered from it and don't look like they will. 10 is far less of an issue IMO. JAS is fine in the centres for n...

Re: Official Guinness v Foster's Match Thread
Thanks for that DD. On seeing the word flid I just accidentally spat flob all down my chin. It's losing its traction these days. Aus look like they're coming to play. Had to google the meaning of flid and flob. We certainly have some flids in the Wobs squad, but hopefully less playing this weekend,...

Allan Alaalatoa (86 Tests) - #896; West Harbour Juniors 4. Jeremy Williams (23 Tests) – #973; Wahroonga Tigers 5. Tom Hoope...

Re: Which decade of rugby captures your heart the most?
80s or 90s. Both decades were pretty good times for Reds and Wallabies. All been pretty meh since then, aside from the occasional false dawn to get the long suffering supporters hopes up.

Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish… Harry Potter had a decent game but the rest was crap. Our worst performance for a while. Edmed is not test standard. We were static across the park in attack and clueless defensively. It’s going to be up to Kiss to reshape us for the RWC. Schmitty has one foot out the doo...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt
Reds now have 4 good/decent flyhalves, 3 good inside centres, one good winger and bugger all at fullback. Campbell is serviceable super rugby fullback. HMP and Volavola can play there too. I’m a reds’ fan and would immediately swap him for the back/up fullback at any of the other Oz SR teams. At hi...

I think they all looked a bit off. Long set of games. One too many for our boys. The Kiwis just had France H to contend with. Nobody has stood up at 10. For all the shit Noah got hung on him, he was comfortably better than the performances we've seen out of Lynagh, Tane and JOC. Bring back Carter a...

Don't mind the idea of RC every 4 years.
In between, we still need to play the AB's every year for the Bled, one off tests, winner take all. Might have a chance of finally getting it back!

Not a great first half from the Broncs. Too many errors and stupid penalties. No way you can compete with the Panthers with that many fvck ups.

Nic White officially retires... again. It looks like Gordon will be back starting. I think they missed an opportunity not bringing in a new 9 against the Pumas. Would have been good to see what Lonergan could do at test level, or maybe even Wilson. Barring injuries you would imagine it will now be ...

Wallabies have been dreadful competing for the high ball all year. The only upside is that from what I've seen the ABs have been fairly dire as well so maybe we can do better against them. Super Rugby AU is a 3 round competition - do you believe that this should be the third tier? 3 rounds isn't enough for any tier. Yep. This is a stop gap to get more miles on the tires, but its a start. Not sure why they wouldn't have made it a 6 round home and away comp. $$$ I suppose.
