Re: F1 Thread
To suggest any driver is at fault here is just ridiculous. They have no control over the deployment of the battery and what it does to power. Imagine if this happened in a blind spot of one of the really fast tracks like spa. Imagine if it happened just before the swimming pool Monaco. Very bloody ...

Re: Rugby scenes in movies & TV
I know it's Loog, but This Sporting Life was pretty good. Cricket is also pathetically represented in fillums. Matches in Tom Brown's Schooldays showing obviously modern equipment, clothing, stumps. Also inevitably, a batsman will be clean bowled and the fielders will all shout "Howzat!". Fair does ...

No sanction for no-wrap, head-on-head right in front of the ref? Poor show. Chiefs guy should have collapsed like a Frenchman.

Fair fucks Ireland, huge effort to stop that. There'll be many fans in Dublin tonight who are hugely conflicted about who to support! No one will be the slight bit conflicted. Most Irish folks are ok with English rugby -always a friends to Irish rugby when the chips are down. Also helps that Englan...

It usually is. I asked the question whether Scots would sooner have 1 win over england or 4 wins but lose to them, opinion was divided ! If that's how the players feel, even subconsciously, they'll never crack top 3 in the rankings. Maybe they could employ Paul Daniels to hypnotise them into thinki...

Re: Sasanach v true sons of Eireann, official thread
I feel the game of rugby gets big one sided wins based on not much difference in quality at the moment. Play that game again with the same players and you could get a vastly different result. Barring South Africa and maybe France there isn't much between the next 6-8 teams and they are all capable ...
