They're trying to make the whole weekend more exciting to attract spectators, rather than just FP, qualy and race.. It's being trialled at 3 or 4 tracks.

The problem with an early start in England is that there's often dew on the grass (stop sniggering at the back) until mid-morning. And finishing later means you're playing in awkward light where floodlights wouldn't make a difference.

Should have played in Cape Town.
