Of course I didn't pick Matsuyama this time.
Fair play to him. Excellent round on Saturday.

Re: Overrated cities?
I found New York to be an ugly, dirty, surprisingly soulless shithole . It's like a giant shopping mall, which I suppose is fine if that's your thing, but if you're not into musical theatre there's nothing there that can't be found in any other major North American city. I will concede that it seem...

Definitely needs to be broken up. Still don't know why they were allowed to buy WhatsApp.
Amazon also should be broken up. AWS should be split from the rest of the company.

Wouldn’t be so sure I would say: Conte Koeman Zidane Arteta OGS (hopefully) Are all very precarious Poch shouldn’t jump too soon he could have his pick of club I'd say Zidane is fairly safe after avoiding being knocked out and still on for the league. Koeman will probably be fired soon but Poch is ...

Re: The OFFICIAL English and European Football (soccer) thread
doubt the ref was actualy racist, just a clumsy romanian guy Apparently he said something along the lines of "these black guys" referencing players nearby and a bunch of the PSG players, rightly, questioned him if the use of 'black' was really necessary. Yeah more clumsy. My read on it too. I would...

Parisse ahead of Read? Even Heaslip was better this decade.
Big fan of BOD but he retired in 2014 and spent 2012/13 either injured or with a shit ireland team. Surely there was a more deserving second centre.

For all the hype, Bryson does not hit that much further than the others. Rahm is usually within 20 yards of him and his second is usually closer to the pin.

What makes him such a great manager? Spending 200 million on attacking talent?
I think there's very little evidence he has done much to the shape this team. He inherited a team that finished 3rd under Sarri and then struggled to finish top 4.

Liverpool won't win the league without Van Dijk. They're not good at all defensively this season. No real stick out teams so far. Safe money would be on City maybe to win but their poor defensively. Spurs have no midfield and if either Son or Kane get injured they're screwed. Arsenal look the most ...

Everton won't win it. Squad depth isn't there really to last a full season. If 2 of Allan, Doucoure, Gomes, Digne or Rodrigues are injured for a prolonged spell, the team will really struggle.

This is his excuse to pull out, if he wants to. Changing to a halfway human candidate could get the GOP over the line. If Pence took over and filled in for Trump, the republicans could win. They are not bound to Pence. If Trump dies or is too sick to continue there could be a postponed election and...

Regardless of tax illegality, the NY times article just reveals how bad a businessman Trump is. That was a superb performance from Bryson. He really worked it out this week.
