Re: Blues v MP @ Eden Park - Sat 30th March
Went to the game, first super rugby game for years for me. What a mess. 10 dollar tickets and afternoon rugby and they still couldn't get many to go to it.
I thought the Blues 12 looked pretty good.

Re: The Official and ONLY England v Ireland Match Thread
Was at the game yesterday, and surprised to read in the papers how well everyone thought England played. To me it felt like they were just hanging on for a lot of the game.
Good atmosphere at the ground, it actually felt like there were more Irish than England supporters to me.

I bought LSE at about £7 in the mid 2000s. It is about £88 at the moment. Considered buying it when it was £3 something actually, which would have been even better I think AZN is the other fairly successful share I have bought that went up by 5 times or so. Against that have had ones like Jarvis th...

The Iraq war and the covid slump were two of the greatest buying opportunities of the last 20 years IMHO. Just buy the big well-funded companies and you can't lose.

Cameron is responsible for the biggest s**t show in politics of recent years, if he had ignored Farage and his loony supporters then Brexit would never have been a thing. Re: 2023 Rugby World Cup Final Match Thread - NZ Vs South Africa
Positives. Our set piece was great except for Taylor's wobbly throwing. The scrum was surprisingly good even with Jordie packing down. I think our two sets of front rowers look very good for the future, locks are more of a worry, but the two old war-horses were superb. Telea and JB were fantastic. S...

Re: 2023 Rugby World Cup Final Match Thread - NZ Vs South Africa
It's clear to me that q major failing of the ABs in this tournament and for the past couple of years is discipline. We will keep losing games if we keep getting carded and that should be the number one priority to address for next year. Having said that our kicking game was woeful and we were losing...

Congrats Boks. Had our chances, couldn't take them. Precisely. We kicked far too much. When we ran, we showed no patience and our skills in the backs in general let us down. We played into the Boks hands by the way we played, but well done to them for sucking us into their game. Never seen so many ...

Fitting way for Sam Cane to end his test career. He's an idiot. He should never have been made captain. Now he has likely lost us a RWC final. Then again, if any AB had to go off... Fair point.
