Re: France vs England - Official 6 Nations Thread - 16 March 24

It was a classic end of match penalty, similar things happen all game long - especially when teams are defending their line - but there's heightened awareness in the final minutes. In the cold (sober) light of day I guess there's no complaint. It was amusing seeing Ugo nearly lose his shit with Benj...

We don't seem to know what to do when attack turns to defence, and still try to blitz with limited numbers. I guess it'll come with time

It's outrageous that England should be expected to play by the same rules as everyone else #Brexit
If it's enforced the same way every time it happens, no problem.

Hey ho, good game. Our transition into defence needs some work and we still make too many individual errors but our attack is much improved across the weeks. I'm happier than I was after the first games.

Well. That was tremendous. Great game and so many moments when things were working.... I watched the Wibble Rugby video and thought "what are you going on about" but a lot of that was in the game. There were so many moments of improvement. The personnel changes, Feyi-Waboso, Martin, Furbank - all e...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread

There's more than one way to skin a cat. The emphasis ought to be on how effectively you execute rather than on how "attacking" you are. That's what entertains me.

England's problem is that they're just not very good at what they're trying to do.

That or to ensure the other guys score fewer points than you.

Either emphasis is fine as long as you have the personnel for it.
