Re: Why have Newcastle been so poor this season?
No money, Diamond has i als indicated they will go down to a 34 man squad next season which wont help. Bath and Sarries are also nicking their promising youngsters. Survival is questionable. That would be a shame. Newcastle and Worcester were always my 2 favourite teams. Surely 10 is the minimum nu...

Re: The Official Welsh Rugby Thread
I tended toward a soft spot for Exeter but this episode will show me. Their owner is a plum. Their fans acted the plum over the whole chiefs shite. One or two of their players were anti-vax wankers. And now this. That’ll teach me for giving an English side the benefit of the doubt. Poach-extorting t...

Relieved to hear from his Dad that Nick can look quite good at Premiership level if his pack provide a ridiculous platform and the opposition surrender within 1...

I’ve just noticed that we’ve yet to arrange our autumn international fixtures.
That seems, well, unusual.
It also makes dodging the mighty Georgians more complicated.

Well played Wales - a comfortable and professional 4-1 win. Poland in Cardiff in 5 days. Winner heads to Germany for the Euros. It would be some thing to get to our 3rd Euros, particularly our first attempt in the post Bale era. Having said that, Poland are a better team, even with our home advanta...

Seems likely that the long shot will amount to little but hard to begrudge the guy having a crack at it. He’s young and he has time to come back to rugby. And it’s not as if Gloucester and Wales provide the happiest and most successful environments currently. Now was a good a time as any.

Randomly my YouTube threw up the full match of Wales v Fiji at the 2011 RWC last night. You watch that and see how we play and the personnel available and then compare to now and the difference is horribly stark. We had two decent props. Some lock options including Charteris, AWJ and Bradley Davies....
