This is going to end well. Replace cops with Social workers. Zohran Mamdani's latest hire to his incoming staff includes the mayor-elect's long-time chief advisor, who has been dubbed the "chief architect" of Mamdani's campaign proposal to have social workers respond to certain non-violent 911 call...

Re: Which decade of rugby captures your heart the most?
I think 1998, 2009, 2024, 2025 are the only years (since professionalism) that I felt the Boks were superior to the All Blacks. ie obviously better. So I am guessing Boks fans probably like those years as well.

Is that kiwi whinger Schmidt now going through to the RWC in Oz with the wallabies? I thought he extended only until the Lions series. How is he a whinger? He was spot on about Borthwick showing the ref videos... that has to be stopped... And no, Australia will have a new coach next Rugby Champions...

I had a reply from Tim Satchell who is one of the senior managers at Planet Rugby. He asked me if James While (Jake) knew about it. I said he had been sent messages but not heard back. Hopefully Tim might get something done. Has anyone heard from Jake since this all started? All I've seen reference...

Brian Moore has the plan https://www.telegraph.co.uk/gift/31fd2149d597dc73 England should beat New Zealand and this is how Steve Borthwick’s team must not make the mistake of being subdued by the mystique surrounding the All Blacks Wish I could be paid to write articles like this.... he doesn't eve...

I am paraphrasing. Perhaps losing to England would be bad, but losing to Scotland would be worse might be a better way of putting it. How do they know the All Black players? That's quite a coup getting tickets off them! There are quite a few young Scots go over to work and play in NZ and vice versa. There are also a couple of personal links I'll not mention as it becomes obvious who the individuals are. Sorry to be oblique, but I...

Scotland were in the AB's 22 more often than the AB's were in theirs. Scotland were over the AB's line more often that the AB's were over theirs. Scotland's achille's heel remains their inability to convert chances into tries. Even more so, the inability of their forwards to score. The Scottish bac...

Ok, now for a bit of overhead action. Looks a lot like Lood is significantly impacted by copping a ball in the face. He really does appear to flinch away from the ball and that makes a significant change to his angle of attack. https://i.ibb.co/tPKQwsnL/20251109-080357.jpg https://i.ibb.co/x8KzzwjK...

To be fair, how can you be expected to compete when you only spend half a billion quid to improve your title winning squad? I cannot believe that the smaller nations aren't making more of a fuss about it. It's stacking the deck. Strongly favours Boks, England, France and to an extent, NZ. Huge advantage to those with existing playing depth , which makes it harder for those who lack it,.to bridge the gap. It takes an une...

Was looking at the last time the 2 teams met in 2022 where the score was also an 8 point win. Very similar storyline, ABs got off to a great start, Scotland came back all guns firing and took a good 9 point lead only to have shot their bolt and the ABs dominated the later part of the game to take t...

How many players do you need to have a quality team of 23? 100,000? So you think Norfolk island should have the same quality 23 as South Africa? You are now just stupid.
