Re: The OFFICIAL English and European Football (soccer) thread

They paid £68m for Alisson, £75m for VVD and £85m for Nunez. Get me a violin Coutinho money. Since Liverpool won the league City have spent considerably more but they've also sold considerably more so the net difference is only £70m. I'm not comparing them to dodgyx115 City. But Liverpool have hard...

Re: The OFFICIAL English and European Football (soccer) thread

Think Rooney spoke a lot of sense tonight about a lot of the Liverpool players probably being anxious about their own future under a new manager. And perhaps it was a mistake for Klopp to announce he was leaving back in January. But Klopp had to announce the decision to leave as it was about to be ...

The change in Germany in the last two years is staggering. We've gone from a naive, reckless, borderline suicidal peacemongering, to Kriegstüchtigteit . Two weeks ago Pistorius announced the re-establishment of the German General Staff (under a new name) for the first time since 1945, and just toda...

They would be mad, Moyes has done a solid job at West Ham, including a european trophy. They are only a spot or two lower than last season after selling Rice. Hen Haag's CV prior to Ajax isn't particularly impressive. Moyes has come out and said he has been offered a new contract... but hasn't sign...

Re: Bulldog Memorial Cup: Masters 2024

How does the scoring work? Is it just using the players place number as a score?

Or is it weighted so more higher picks compensates for lower picks? So picking players that miss the cut don't penalise you as much as players near the top help you?
