Re: Trans-Tasman comp to replace Super Rugby in 2021

Beyond the situation of 2020-2021 due to the covid-19, I am surprised by the ease with which they take SA exit for granted. There are signed contracts and if the saffas decide to stay in AUS and NZ it will be more expensive than Jeff Bezos' divorce.

Re: Trans-Tasman comp to replace Super Rugby in 2021

Seems simple enough. If NZR wants X, and RA wants Y, and X does not = Y, then absent some compromise all around, they will go it alone with separate competitions. Seems pretty obvious the best for both countries is to compete against each other. I can't see why Aussie can't have 4 teams bolstered b...

I don't agree at all. The biggest criticism from the head coach, and of the players themselves, is for the "lack of attitude" and "hunger to win". There were no other players who would have taken the potential frustrations out of their own performance. The case of Socino is punctual, he was not ver...

Yesterday, I had a bad feeling that this would be the SR 2020.

This will be the Sharks toughest match to date. I think with recent results the Sharks will be pretty confident and playing at home, will just pip the Jags. Just the effect of travel and maybe a little fatigue could stymie them. I would almost be tempted to call a draw but home advantage could coun...

Some big boys in that Jags pack. Bosch just need to trust his technique. I mean, Lambie was a wee lad, but he was a solid defender. Here we can observe our big boys (those who will be starters in orange jersey) studying Bosch's evasive movements, because the "dogo" Bordoy (coach of forwards) does n...
